The Phoenix is working as well in the tank as it does in the stock tube. They do not leak, which is amazing to me. All the other bottom coil cartos seemed to have serious leaking issues. Even after running almost a full 5ml of juice thru the tank, the connector is not wet. My CE2s, whether in a tank or not, always seem to flood and I always have to remove them from the device, blow it out, and dry the connector. Another thing is these do not have the condensation build up issues like with a CE2 (no mouthful of juice when you tip it).

I won't give a full review, there are plenty of them here already, especially since I've only used one in my tank so far. For a good review see LordDavon's review here: My Phoenix Bottom Coil Video Review. One thing he states, which i have found to be the only thing I don't like about the Phoenix, is that they have a very cool vape. Right now I am trying to get used to that. I really want to like these, but I really miss the heat I get from the CE2s. I haven't had any dry hits and no flooding and gurgling. The flavor is good but different due to the coolness of the vapor.

I usually use an aluminum drip tip which can get pretty warm after a good chain vape on a CE2, these get warm at the base, and I kinda worry about what that heat might be doing to my battery.

Ok so we don't need a full review :) but some notes on how you modded the phoenix to go into a tank (do's and don'ts) could be very helpful for some (pics as well to rule out confusion) But that's only a thought.

Me too.....I'm looking for something to use in a tank that has no polyfill!!

I have a couple of the original ARRY Tanks, which I don't believe are available anymore. They are made to accept just the innards from a clear CE2. All I had to do was remove the tube from the Phoenix push it into the bottom of the tank and the top seal in the top.

I finished one full tank now and just can't get used to the total lack of warmth in the vapor, I'll try another to see if I can.

I think the more air flow cools it down even more. What I do with my Phoenix is screw it down pretty tight to make the draw a little harder. That seems to warm it up a little. Not much but better.

Yeah...I was thinking about that too, but I really don't like a real hard draw. I really want to like these, but the 2 things I really don't like are having to fill with a syringe and the really cool vape. I may try the Phoenix top coils when they finally come in, but for now I guess I'll stick with the CE2s...

On my 3rd tank now and it seems to be getting better, or maybe I'm getting used to it. I've rinsed and dry burned between each fill. I really like the fact that it doesn't leak and so far there have been no real flooding issues. On my second tank when the juice level got real low it seemed to siphon thru a little, but not any worse than a flooded CE2, just a little wet at the connector.
