Thank you, sir. I guess I forgot how oddly designed the original product is, ha...the post configuration, the middle cap, the detachable 510 connection. Could one just disregard the middle cap, drill an airhole into the top cap and screw it onto the base?

yup, as long as your friend doesn't need bottom-feed, that should work fine

... and you'd have a dual coil rba because the Triangle has three posts, hence the name.
Just be careful with the center post isolator. That thing is pretty weak in the original. Robert replaces it with a sturdier piece of tubing.
