Let's have some fun....
what can you 'smell' now that you didn't when you smoked? Good stuff, silly stuff - and, well let's keep it as 'clean' as possible.

30 years of 'mokin' the dreaded firestix and my sense of smell remained acute. (not to be confused with tooo cute)
People were always amazed that I could smell things they could not despite the fact I was a 'moker'.

Major wake up call this afternoon. I opened a felt tip pen to label a cd. Set it on my lap for a moment before use - and whew...... the aroma wafting up to my nose reminded me of the warnings to 'glue sniffers' in HS - way back in the olden days.

I also realized my dogs have bad breath and excess gas. I knew it existed before vaping - but how did my vaping increase their stinkies8-o?

I haven't really noticed much with smell, but tastes, I can actually taste the different flavors in things instead of just the most potent ones. I could always smell my dogs horrible farts and stinky breath

Have to agree with the dog thing I got 2 and they both stink ha-ha!

Also dog related I suppose? I can smell wild garlic in the woods when I take them out

Lastly wife stinks of analogs ha-ha!

After it rains, the grass stinks worse than before.
Gasoline is almost overbearing
Cigarette smoke
People down the block BBQing
The fruit/veg section in the grocery store smells lovely
Car exhaust
PEOPLE with bad breath, now more than ever

I just don't get it when people say fresh cut grass stinks, I love that smell, course it smells like fresh cut watermelon to me lol.

I can smell that my dh smells like a delicious mix of cigs, coffee, and cologne tinged with mint, it's lovely.

Those are pretty much the only two things I can smell at all, and for the second I can't smell anything till I'm at least hugging close. I can only smell the grass when it's me cutting it.

This is most likely a temporary adjustment but...
<rantmode>I just started with the ecig, but already the taste and smells... DO NOT LIKE! So many foods just taste horrid now, the only things that still taste/smell good are: hickory, sassafrass, beef, trees. I couldnt even choke down a slice of key-lime pie, sugar smells TERRIBLE.</rantmode>

Yesterday a retired co-worker came to visit work.

Last night had a similar situation, our garage is the "hangout area", we've got a coffee table, couches, stereo, etc. My roommate smokes cigs, it was raining last night, so she smoked in the garage, which is what it's there for, but I'm not used to her smoking in the garage. So I went out after putting the video game on pause, for a little "green motivation"...Holy crap! I couldn't spend more than 3 mins in there.

I'm not sure my sense of smell as changed at all. I've always had a great sense of smell. but i wasn't a lifer just ....... 14 years ok yea that is a long time i was smoking tobacco. well month and a half with out tobacco and still no change in my smell that i've noticed.

I smell greed and corruption. Like I have never smelled them before.

Car exhaust was always the first thing that gagged me whenever I tried to stop smoking. Those school buses are the worst.

Freshly laundered cloths.

Cigarette smoke, although it really dosen't bother me. But I sure don't miss the smoke in my eyes and the nicotine smelling hands.
