of just a mesh wick rolled up or one rolled up and oxidized first? Does one give more vape than the other? Or does one last longer?
Just curious because I have seen people using both methods on youtube.

Have only been using oxidized ss mesh, which has been producing excellent results in both coil building and vaping. May have to try an unoxidized wick, at some point.

I believe oxidation on a stainless steel mesh wick kills it's electrical conductivity. I would imagine a non oxidized wick would cause shorts. Someone with more experience will pipe in for sure.

I've seen them oxidized only up top, leaving the part in the tank undone. The dude said the flavor was more pure that way. You pretty much have to have a mechanical mod to do it though I think, firing quick pulses and poking the coil around while the hot spots and silver of the mesh go away. I haven't tried it yet.
