DRIPPERS: any performance gains or losses going from 22mm to 30mm models?

I've been very curious about this since the 30mm models are starting to be more popular.

Lets say you start with a model that's offered in both 22mm and 30mm, the TOBH for example. Other than fit and estetics would there be any performance advantages or disadvantages to picking a 30mm over a 22mm model? I'm guessing you wouldn't have to refill as ofter with the 30mm but what about performance?
