To me, the 808 cartos on any of the big batts have too airy of a draw. I currently use an adapter on 510 and 901 Rivas and have taken to dripping at home for just that reason, although the 510 adapter has an adjustable draw which helps. I think if I was back to trying a new configuration it would probably be the PigCig from LeCig. From the reviews I've seen, it's supposed to have the regular 808 characteristics in a larger battery size. I was very happy with XL V4Ls for a while, until battery life got to be a problem.
As far as cartos go, I'm currently really impressed with Ikenvape's megas. I've tried many different styles and the megas have the best features out of all of them IMHO. They run cool, hold a LOT of juice, and have a really nice flavor.

XL's are the best cig sized, otherwise something like a Hello016 with a 99 cent adapter from Good Prophets is great too.
The absolute ultimate for me is my GGTS with adjustable airflow ring, but for 160 bux you gotta be an 808 freak like me LOL, at least it's not gonna be disposable like anything else though after x amount of charges.
You MUST use premium / turbo cartomizers though, like the ones by Boge, the Kanger original ones are garbage.

I just received a PigCig from LeCig on Monday, and I've fallen in love. It's reasonably priced, and the mega carts work wonders with it! I'm keeping all my old 808 batts as backups. Definitely going to order the chrome version and more cartos when I get paid.

For native 808, I've been looking at both the Elegant and the PigCig. Leaning toward PigCig.
The PigCig is "like a Hello6" but with no adapter required.

For Cartomizers, look for Boges.
The Boge design has the most efficient heat transfer.
Other than that... it's all good.

It's exclusive to Vapor Kings in USA : NEW GG Telescopic Storm with brass telescopic center section
It works standard at 3.7v, 6v, and 7.4v with regular battery combinations, and you can get an adapter to use it at 5v, or get a terminator adapter to dial the voltage finer.
Works with all 808, 510, 801, 901, etc.... they do a GGTB mod which is also excellent for 808's for 73 bux, but no adjustable airflow or mega battery life like the GGTS, it is smaller though.
I like the Greenworld G400 900 mAh batteries, kind of pricey but nice performance, true 808 3.7V devices. In between standard and XL length, thicker (not as thick as eGo), nice, easily gripped, black matte rubbery finish.

Could you elaborate on the second statement? I've read that the pigcig lasts 6-8 hrs. My V4L XL's last that long too, so what's the advantage of a pigcig?
The pigcig should last more than 6 hours. My riva lasts 10-12, with only 100 more mAh.
Maybe a heavier vapor? And maybe you, Mrsocean are more a light vapor?
I'm a heavy vapor, and my 280's, wich should last 3 hours, only go for maybe 1,5...
The length of time a battery lasts someone is really going to be a person to person thing, The 6-8 may have been a "rule of thumb" or may have been stated by a heavy vaper. The XL kr8s were lasting me an average of 5 hours each when I quit using them. A 750 Riva lasts me almost 9, and an 1100 will last me close to 15. If I was vaping heavily there was barely any time between getting one kr8 xl off the charger and putting the next one on. I simply got tired of going through 4 to 5 batteries a day and having to carry all the extras if we were going to be gone for the day.
To figure out how long a battery will actually last you personally, take the time you know one lasts; 380 mah at your least amount of time of 6 hours. Divide the mah by the length of time; 380/6=63, or 63 mah per hour. That means that a pigcig would probably last you slightly over 10 hours minimum.
