Hi guys I just got my blanks in the mail, I ended up getting some WOW and Coolcarts. I've been topping off my prefills for awhile, but I just wanted to get some feedback on what you guys do to fill blanks and if there is anything special I have to do when filling them for the first time. I know that the actual method of filling(i.e. drip,drip/spin, condom, syringe) is pretty much what your most comfortable doing, but I would still like to hear back from the V4L family on what you prefer and why. So far I've been dripping and plan on trying to get a syringe and trying that out, and although the videos of the condom method looks easy it seems like it can be a messy waste.?? I just don't want to waste or ruin any of my blanks. Any help would be much appreciated. Also right now the audio on my computer isn't working so alot of the videos are useless to some extent. Look forward to hearing your ideas and feedback.:vapor::evil::vapor:

Welcome, badfish; I don't know if I've had the pleasure of greeting you before!

My filling preference is a syringe. I fought against it for a long time...as I am clumsy and was sure I would stick myself more often than the carto! :D However, I find I get a better result, more vaping time, and less waste by using a syringe, and I haven't hurt my hands anymore than I normally would in my day to day life.

I STAY AWAY from the condom fill at any price. It is messy and wasteful. I end up with more juice on napkins than in the carto, and it ends up taking more time than either syringing or drip-spin, by the time I have cleaned up all the mess.

Just my :2c:

At home....syringe...quick, easy, efficient, no mess, exact

Away...Drip...fast, easy, efficient, no mess, no syringe needed

On occasion....Drip/Taryn Spin...when cartos have polyfill too tightly wrapped....force juice into polyfill

Never...Condom Method....slow, messy, inefficient, total mess, total waste, kill an auto battery

Same story here. Except for the sticking myself part the first time around. Yup. What you said.

My :2c: and your :2c: makes :2c::2c:.

It might depend on the design of the PV and the cartomizer.
I use a Provari and a 510 cartomizer 3.0 ohm Cartomizer that is sold by Provari.

Guess I'm retro but the condom method works great for me on the first fill of a cartomizer.

I actually use two methods, If I'm going to use the cartomizer immediately than I use the Condom method.

The other is if I plan in advance.

I start the cartridge a day before I'm going to use it. My cart came with a condom that has a long rubber needle that goes into the cartomizer and blocks liquid from leaving.(connection side) So I fill the sucker up with a dropper (Mouthpiece side) until it's really saturated than I I add extra and leave for a day. with the top covered by the other side of the condom and propped in an upright position.

It all soaks in and I get a good vape out of the cartomizer.

My Provari has a catch basin that catches any excess that drips out so there really isn't much mess involved. Either way.

Thanks everybody, and by the way morandir it's sir.. But anyways, can I just go and buy a syringe or do I have to order it online. I thought I read that someone just went to their local pharmacy and was able to buy a 18 gauge 1-3ml syringe, but when I went to my local CVS the pharmacist looked at me like I was a junkie even after I explained what it was for. She looked in the back and said they didn't have any that would work for me, only the really tiny ones for diabetics.??? LOL. I know I can get one online, but I'm gonna pay more for shipping then it costs for the syringe kit. I'm gonna go across town tomorrow and check Walgreens , or I guess just calling would be a little easier.

My local tractor supply had them right out on the shelves in packs of 6 pcs. the needles separate in packs of 5 pcs. But, I'm in Florida. It does vary from state to state. Mine were only $1.99 a pkg. Also, my Walmarts here just handed one to me for 25 cents. no questions asked, not like the CVS & Walgreens did. Might wanna try them too

Same here. Plus the looks on my (adult) kids' faces the first time I did it at the kitchen table was priceless!

I used to use the syringe but it was so time consuming! I dreaded having to refill. I use 10-15 different flavors and had to wash the 3 syringes I used between each carto. Then I ran into some cartos that the filler was so tight I couldn't even get the syringe in them. So I switched to dripping in. I tried spinning but that just added an extra step. So now I drip one till it's soggy, drip in 2 or 3 more then go back to the first one and add a few more drops. I let them sit for a few minutes and if they look dry at the top I keep adding. I've had a few that I over filled, but I just turned them upside down and sucked up the extra right back into the bottle. So far this is my favorite and fastest method :)

+1 (snicker)

Availability at Drug stores does vary from state to state, and even store clerk to store clerk. As for filling with 10-15 flavors, I ordered enough 16 and 18 gauge from LibertyFlightsUSA (ECF vendor) so that I have 1 dedicated syringe for each juice flavor (I keep them together in the same baggie, along with any cartos that need refilling). (Yeah, they're that cheap. And soooo worth it!:))
