Cigeasy has blanks in stock again. A 5 pack is $7.95 which is reasonable,,IMO. I don't think they are quite as good as the ones that come from Steve. I have 15 of them. The first one I tried did not even last a day...it definitely burned through the batting..lol. I am on my second one and it has lasted me a few days so far..no problems. I don't think the batting is rolled as tight..or maybe it is a different material. Also the coil measures at 3.4 ohms where as most of Steve's are closer to 3 ohms. Anyway I think the cigeasy ones are good enough to last me until Steve gets blanks in...I hope so.

I would keep 2 things in mind. 1) It is a disposable carto. Not saying it can't seem like new after a fill, but it isn't. I personally have never had a problem or burned a carto and I have topped off a lot, usually with 10-15 drops from the 20ml bottle. I anticipate the need for additional liquid.

2) Steve has said in the past that in order to get the exact same liquid, (which certainly could affect the results), you would need to use the 5ml bottles.

I'm certain with improvements and time, all this will and may already have changed and there will likely be a greater consistency over time.

Steve will get us all SMILIN one way or the other.

So, I am interested in seeing if the 5ml bottles are the same as the pre-filled. I went to the site and noticed that they do not carry 24mg liquid in the 5 ml bottles... (0,8,18,and 36mg) Are they sold out or do not stock? I usually always buy liquid in larger supplies, but i was curious to see how close the refill would vape with this liquid compared to the fresh cart...

Hey, all. First off, I got some blank cartomizers, they were black and looked exactly like a Marlbro cartomizer. Iwas able to put 34!! drops in them (well, one was slightly flooding, but worked great) by dripping from a regular 20ml bottle of juice! No magic process there.
It was new. That's it. When you refill, you are adding on top of residual juice in the carto that will never completely be gone. It gets stale/starts to break down unless you wash it out successfully.
The blank carts I filled work just like a new one. They lasted just as long or longer before I needed to refill. But I just got them a few days ago so I don't know about the long term longevity.

Finishing that post since I don't yet trust the server stability.
I agree with leeshor, these are called DISPOSABLE cartomizers.
$2.50 apiece isn't cheap, but they are pretty durable. I don't think you should expect to see them for a dollar or less, because the cart is were most of the cost lies. I have seen them cheaper at other suppliers, but they may be getting rid of stock that hasn't sold, and they have no flavors/strenghts available. It's probably sitting in Customs like everything else.

If I purchase them from CigEasy.com I get them for $1.59 sans S&H. They don't fit my manual, although they do work on all my other VK devices. That's a pretty good deal, if Steve offered them at $2.00 each or at a discount if bought by the 100, I'd much rather go to Steve. Don't get me wrong, customer service was great at CigEasy, but nobody beats Steve in the CS dept.

I'm currently not a wealthy man, and my loyalty is to Steve, through proven product effectiveness, customer service, and being an awesome guy who saved my life. But to face the facts I'm broke, I'd rather go with Steve, but I'm also in for the long term savings. Hopefully he'll come in close to the price target I need, and maybe offer a discount for big bulk orders, but sadly in the end, it's the wallet that matters.

I can only hope!

im just curious about how they fill these, i like How It's Made, i have a thing for factories i think its rad how the machines work. im a nerd i guess.

I know what you mean, I'm always curious about things like that, too. Luckily for me, I'll be finding out first hand soon. Maybe I'll make a video. I'm not sure if the manufacturers would allow that, of course. But, maybe.

I am curious what makes a prefilled cart so much better than a refilled cart other then the fact that its not a fresh blank cart your filling. I know they are hand filled in the factory.... so what method does the factory use to hand fill these blank carts that make them so good?

Is there any way we can get a video from the factory of the people hand filling a blank cart or a description of their method?
I'll be touring the factories in a couple weeks or so, and filling methods is one of the things I'm curious about. But I often have the opposite experience, I find that I get better performance after refilling. Either way, improving vapor production and getting rid of that slow start many carts have are two of my top priorities.

Like I said, I'm not sure about making a video of factory methods, but It might be possible.
