i experiment with different setups (different combo of mod/atty/build) to improve my vape quality almost daily. lately ive been using my all gold plume veil with my ipv2. ive tried probably 20 different coils in this setup already. from parallels to macros to minis to vertical etc. ive also been trying to maximize the battery life by building with the highest resistance while still being able to vape at 50 watts (which is 1.4 ohms because of 8.5 volt cutoff). i thought single coil would be the way to go but i need more airflow so i had to go to dual. surprisingly the best vape ive got out of the ipv2 and plume veil is a dual 25 wrap average size coil with 26 gauge kanthal. 1.4 ohms! 8.5 volts and it gives me the best flavor by far!

whats your favorite setup youve used in the last 30 days?

Kayfun on a Provari has solved all my issues with pre-made coil head quality. I can use the same coil for weeks and just change the cotton wick every 2 or 3 days during a refill. It just works and works and delivers good vapor and flavor.

I finally tried one of the new vertical coil heads on my Nautilus a couple of days ago. Flavor was good and everyone says the heads are lasting, unlike the coil a day problem I went through since May on the Nautilus and Aerotank Mega.

My "best" chasing stopped way back in December last year when I got my first Reo with an RM2. I'm not a cloud chaser so a single coil atty like the RM2 suits me fine. Haven't had to put anything in context of a 30 day window since I started using a Reo. Quit all the buying and trying.
:2c:

how can you not have the desire to improve the quality!? not matter what it is; vaping, working out, video games, painting etc i MUST improve!

These both win, for different reasons:

Magma - 1.1Ohm coil at 14 watts. VCV Caramel tobacco

Nautilus mini - 2.Ohm at 12 watts. VCV 'Summer Sweet' (lemon raspberry)

Kayfun with a 1.4 ohm chimney coil on a Vamo v5 at 10.5 watts. Would be with my tobh but I only have 26 gauge wire and doing a dual coil with that on the vamo is impossible. Takes about 18 turns a side and still might be just too low to fire. Luckily I've got an ipv2 coming in tomorrow and I already have it set up with dual diamond coils at .8 ohms waiting for it. Entirely stoked.
