What's the Cone for??

Hi,
I just started using the Go-Go, and I love it, it's much more convenient with the large cartomizer and long-lasting battery...

It also comes with a "cone" piece that appears to be just a piece of metal that goes around the cartomizer and screws onto the battery.

 Question: What is the "Cone" for? Is it just for appearance, or does it serve some vapor-producing purpose?

Thanks!

IMO it looks cool, allows you to mix and match colors (if you're a NY giants fan you can put an orange cone on a blue ego. Ohio state fan you can put a red cone on a silver batt, etc etc). In most atty cart combinations it tightens the draw. In drip tip combinations it makes very little difference. With a sticker wrapped carto it tightens the draw almost to a point of analog cig tightness. Gives it more of a pucker pull than a standard ecig draw. Takes more effort to pull but you get more vapor in a shorter hit.

On a side note if you use a button protector you HAVE to use an ego atty, carto, or cone in order for the button cover to "snap" into place.
