I had seem TONS of people in various threads mention this....and I'm wondering if anyone has found out WHY it does this?
Basically, after vaping on Unicorn Blood for a while (which tastes wonderful btw), at various points it randomly starts getting a burnt taste. This is NOT due to running it on too high of a voltage...UNLESS the unicorn blood specifically needs to be run at 3.2v or less no matter what ohms.
The first time this happened to me, was RIGHT after I opened my pro tank to fill the tank back up. The tank was at about 1/5 full, so I opened it up, filled it to the top, and IMMEDIATELY got the burnt taste.
Second time this happened was after I hadn't vaped in a while (almost an hour or so ) and I picked it up, and got the burnt taste.
Third time was just randomly, in the middle of a tank.
First time I had to dump the tank, nothing helped.
Second time I was able to let it sit, and after 10-15 vapes on occasion, it finally went away.
Third time I took out the coil, removed the flavor wick, washed my coil completely, and I'm vaping it now. It has helped greatly....there is maybe a MILD remnant of the burnt taste in there, but its mostly okay.
I had read tons of threads and posts about this.....but I figured either the people just were having bad luck, or maybe running the voltage too high. I realize now that isn't the case.
Anyway, has anyone figured out what causes this? Is it perhaps the food coloring Fuzion uses? If so, can I opt out of it?
