Whats the deal with Marlboro "Gold Pack" analogs?

What is FSC?
After a couple of days they tasted the same to me. I thought it was just my imagination though.

FSC= Fire Safe Cigarettes. It's the crap they added to them to make them taste worse and make you smoke like a mad man in fear that it would go out in between drags.

Yes, thats it! I'm amazed that so many people just didn't notice this change. Our state first got them back in January 2010 but in other states they've been smoking them for years now. I never bought them for myself...this change is what sent me to roll-your-own.

(not excluding myself from this, I can be quite the ignoramus sometimes)

And Fire Safe analogs were so annoying, hopefully I'll never have to worry about that crap again. EVER
