Title says it all. I'm looking for a rebuildable tank that can be used while at work or out and about. I have a protank, nautilus and several evods. While they work I'm not satisfied with the performance. I have a couple of RDAs that are great at home but not designed for out of the house use. The kayfuns sound like what I want but I'm confused by all the different versions.

I have pretty much all versions of the kayfun except for the new Black kayfun lite with the upgraded air hole adj, etc and the 28mm version. If i were to buy one now I'd get either KAYFUN REPLICA BLACK EDITION - VERSION 3 but I probably would not buy a Kayfun I'd get a Fogger V4 or an Aqua. Easier to set up dual coil no flooding on them. I have those too along with the kayfuns.

The original KF is a larger RBA never had one so cant speak to it. The KFL V1 has no airflow control I have 2 and really love them. The KFL+ has airflow control I have one and I love it slightly more than my KFL V1 the KFL + V2 has slightly different top cap and slightly better AFC I have 2 and they are the best I have. I do not have a mini but it is thinner and longer. Finally not sure if I would classify as a clone but the Russian 91% is pretty nice as well it does feature AFC and has an adjustable bottom pin. I have 2 and have sold 2 due to inconsistent shorting which I think was my fault but did not want to play with them to much so I sold and replaced with KFL+ v2. There are also drop kits to shorten the entire length called Nano kits as well as aftermarket top caps and Quartz and poly tanks to replace the original 2014-06-14 22.43.21.jpg

They all fill the same from the bottom there is a screw hole. you have to drain the tank to change the wick and coil. I use a blunt syringe and just drain use it to drain the tank then use it to re fill. You lose a little bit of juice that is on your old wick tough. I change most of my wicks once a week and can do each one with a new coil in about 5 minutes 7 if I really pull them all apart and clean them.

I think in one of the versions they also milled out the top cap a little more. But other then difference in version with fill screw, top cap, o-ring in the top cap recessed, air flow control... when it comes down to who makes it... quality. The original is high quality. From there I feel Ehpro and Hcigar make quality clones. The original also didn't use standard 510 drip tips. Personally I love the original, but the Ehpro KFL v2 is a very nice clone and I have happy with those as well.

The 3.1 has a side fill hole that requires a needle point dripper or syringe. You can top fill them but its a little trickier in that you have to cover the airhole.

I have a Kayfun lite plus clone, which preforms very nicely. I want to purchase the new V2 (version two) clone from fasttech and focalecig. new drip tip, improved top cap, includes the nano kit and has outstanding reviews. It looks like it's made by Infinite. I can't afford the authentic ones.

Yup sorry for that you are right I have never had the full sized good catch though. Also the oring on the fill screw was added with the KFL+ and improved a little on the KLF + V2
