Hi,
I just ordered some e liquid from myfreedomsmokes and was a little confused about the choices they offer.
There's PG and then there's the choice to have VG added at a % of either 15% or 40%.
What are the ups and downs of the 15% and 40%?
I'll be using it in a joyetech eGo-T, which I'm a complete newbie to as well.
Any advice would be appreciated. thanks

What Rockey111 said but from what I've read more PG seems to also bring out flavors alittle more. If your looking for the "fog" then VG side of things, if ya want to feel the draw (Throat hit) and have alittle stronger flavor then the PG side is the way. I'm rolling with a 70%PG / 30%VG and it works pretty good for my liking.

www.
Lets start with this. Nicotine is the only thing that provides throat hit. It doesn't come from equipment. Now, if we understand that, it's easier to understand pg/vg.

Pg is thinner than VG, but it can be a little harsh. Vg is smoother and sweeter. VG will mute the throat hit and flavor somewhat. The higher the vg, the thicker the juice. The thicker the juice, the more you cartos get clogged. Thick juice is harder to wick. Vg provides more vapor.

Most people have luck around 70-30 pg to vg ratio. That gives you enough vg for good vapor while still allowing flavor and throat hit through

how long does one take before changing to 70/30? im on 80/20 for the longest time...

I don't really think there is a wait time. You should be able to just start using the mix amount whenever as far as I understand. I started with 100% PG and just went to 70/30 myself without any wait. It has more to do with what you like as to when you start changing the amount.

I swear by 100% VG. It is better for you. PG is petroleum based. VG is Vegetable based. UH no brainer for me. VG is sweeter and thicker vapor. I use eCigPros.com liquids. They have good prices. I think it is $15 for a 30 ml bottle of 100% VG. I get a very good throat hit out of mine too. I use a Mega and have never clogged my atty. So as for clogging an atty, I would not blame the VG so quick, maybe more of not maintaining equip. At the least blow out the atty every so often, and pick the fuzz out.
