Hi, I have the AGR tank and love it, BUT heres the catch, no matter what, at some point soon after assembly, the carto's will strip from inside the locking base. I want to try a different tank and hope to get some help on what people are useing out of these 2 and why i should get one or the other tank. I wont go back to a ViVi style tank after trying carto tanks. Pro tank maybe but thats a different topic altogether. Heres the 2 i want to know about. Ive heard so much good stuff about Mom and Pop. I just want to know what tank has the least chance of leaking and the performance of each. I dont trust reviews sometimes that are posted on a products page.

Here they are.

Premium Triple V PolyPro 3ml Tank

And heres the Mini sub im looking at.

Tanks - Mom and Pop Vapor Shop

Any help would be appreciated, im on a real tight budget and want whats going to last and not give problems. Fixed income and all ya know.

Thanks

I agree with aa_rom. Get the Triple V tanks from Valley View. It's polypropylene tube is immune to the tank-cracking flavors like cinnamon and citrus flavors.

The Mom & Pop tanks uses silicone grommets instead of traditional metal endcaps; those are a MAJOR pain in the arz. The original Triple V tanks had those grommets too; I threw those grommets all away when Ray started selling the metal endcaps. This tank also uses polycarbonate plastic tubes which will crack with volatile flavors. You also have to fill this tank with a needle and syringe, also a pain. It's much easier (to me) to fill a tank with traditional end caps and a tank tool like Valley View Vapes sells.

No question in my mind that the Triple V polypropylene tanks are a higher quality tank. I also recommend getting the tank tool offered by Valley View.

Thanks for the replies, yah im really going to think about getting the Tripple V, Im going to watch the vidio, Was just wondering, my AGR has a socalled locking cap for the bottom of the carto that locks the carto in place so it will never just pop out or anything. But as i said, this is also stripping the carto's. Some of my mods are not the easiest to screw cartos onto and it makes taking the tank off and on a problem because it seems to strip the threaads. It doesnt leak even with the bad threads, but i just dont trust it, i cant afford to lose juice. Thanks for the info and i will be ordering this peobably within a couple weeks.

Harry

quick edit, my question was, how is the VVV held in the tank? and is it a nightmare to take on and off a batt and have to worry about leaking?

Locking screws are not needed to hold the tank on the carto. "Quality" tanks use better machined parts to fit better with less tolerences and use tighter fitting o-rings which securely hold onto the cartomizer. A good tank will not slide off of the carto by accident, however it's always a good practice to pick up your setup by the battery (mod) and not by the cartotank. Use common sense.

No cartotank should leak. If they do, it is most likely from a flooded cartomizer. Don't blame the tank, blame the vapor.

Having said that, it is the o-rings which hold the tank onto the carto, and also keeps the tank from leaking juice. O-rings are prone to take some damage every time you install a new carto. The top of the carto is sharp, and can catch, tear, or wear out the o-rings damaging them. To prevent this, the tank tools are recommended to protect the o-rings. They also make cartotanks so much easier and faster to set up.
