that may well be the reason then... I think anywhere above 0.7 for me with this and its just an ok vape, not crap, just not outstanding :)

The nemesis is a mech.. Been coming out 0.7Ω - 1.0Ω Maybe I should try wrapping them a little lower, I just personally don't like the idea of going to low.

I take it you mean 0.4Ω :vapor:

:D I wasn't to sure if you'd come back with a positive response, that's good you have, it's def a keeper build, I've braided
5-10 now and i'm def getting quicker and tighter braids, although saying that, a really loose braid works just as good with
its extra coverage

Are you twisting up some heavy duty stuff? what are you vaping at?

maybe your mod, rba and battery need a clean or bat needs replacing, cant be that many variables, file or sand clean all contacts :)

Very positive :) This is the perfect build for me. Same resistant as my 28ga 6 wrap but alot warmer and lets off a thicker vape. Just hope this coil will last me as long as my regular build. Hate braiding lol.

Seems like alot of people use twisted coils and rave about them, but why?

I have made several the last two days and not seeing the point.

built a
.7 with 4 strands of 32ga and it was a cooler vape and ok vape
.7 with 3 strands of 32ga and it is ok

my main build is just 6 wraps of 28ga for .6-.7ohm

All of them built on a 5/64 drill bite micro coil style.

the non twisted 6 wrap 28 seems to work the best with the 3 strand twisted being almost as good. Just seems like extra work to get the same results, they look a little cooler but the results dont show it worth making to me.

I think everyone's going to keep saying the same answer brother: "they had thinner wire, and wanted thicker, thus giving you a lower resistance wire and more surface area".

~I like you don't see the point unless I don't happen to have thicker wire, I'll just use a thicker gauge for more surface are. That's the one benefit of twisted wire is MORE SURFACE AREA (which you can achieve with one thick wire better), however it also heats up slower. So more wire to burn the juice, that heats up slower.

~I do kind of like how the juice can "escape" through the coils better when twisted, if you wick through the coils center it spurts like crazy, and I made a twisted dragon coils for the same reason (with lesss wraps to make it heat up faster) and it worked alot better actually.

I made a thread for it so people can see how to do it etc http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coil-builds/553309-braided-wire-coils.html there are a lot of people that don't realise what they are missing, ive not taken my coil out for a long time by my standards, I don't get that feeling with this coil that I need to go try build better, its everything, its hot flavoursome throat hitting and on top of that produces nice clouds :)

what other builds can you use 32 or 30g at 0.5Ω :D awesome
