Hassle free = REO with any decent atty or carto.

Using a carto develops the mentality of just throwing away the carto when it isn't performing up to snuff any more, but you give up something on the flavor side. So, I think as far as completely "hassle free", that's as hassle free as it's going to get.

Using a good atty tends to lead to trying to keep the atty alive as long as possible and doing a little atty maintenance, so perhaps there is a minimal amount of hassle for most folks... but not me. I'm not as picky about my attys any more and I honestly don't mind throwing one away rather than cleaning a coil that is more gunked up than an over-night bath in vodka can clean up. - Cisco 510, Cisco 306, Iken i06, or even Joye 510 or Bauway 306 are all just fine (I did type that short list in order of my preference, but any of them perform just fine on my REOs).

My apologies for being off topic, this might not be hassle free in the beginning
Kind of like setting up a kayfun. Pre-punched cartos are available.

Question: sym tool looks different than the smoktech one-is sym better or is this another personal preference things? I just tilt my carto and no worries so far but when I have the urge to buy, im sure one of these will end up in my gear box...

I tilt mine, too, when out in the field.

I actually have one that comes from Electonicstix that I had to modify by taking the o-ring off and filing around the base to fit into the carto. First on the market, I guess.

Is there a video on how to use these? I have one coming with my order from IBTanked, but I have no idea how to use it.

There are better videos out there. Please bear with this guy, and this was shot before prepunched cartos and tank tools became popular. Some prefer the syringe method to prime the carto.

Sideways shot, sorry. Just fill through the top of the tank next to the tool.

Hassle free is fatally subjective, is the problem.

Is squonking a hassle? Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

If you are OK with it too, I'd echo the Reo suggestion.

I find stainless steel wicked rebuildables the least hassle as well. They take 1/2 an hour to set up, but you can use them for a month without any thought (beyond the odd rinse if you feel like it) at all...

I'm gonna say an ego-twist with a kanger evod is pretty close to hassle-free. All PV's (or thier batteries) need to be charged, can't do anything about that. All atties, coils, wicks, etc will die someday, can't do anything about that, either.

The ego-twist charges quickly, having 2 in rotation means you'll never be without one ready to go. It's small and easy to carry around in your pocket. It can be charged off the usb in your computer. It lasts a pretty long time . . the first 2 ego-twists I bought lasted around 8 months before one totally died and the other started acting strange. Thier replacements have been going strong for around 5 months, now.

The Kanger evod is easy to refill. It's easy to change the heads when needed and you can do so without emptying the tank. The connection to the pv is strong . .I've never had one get damaged in my pocket. I've never had one leak - having something leak in your pocket is a big hassle, imo. They are pretty durable as they have a metal frame on the outside - I've never had one crack from dropping, anyway. They are cheap - I get mine for under $5 and replacement heads for around a dollar - so you can treat them as semi-disposable (although they last a long time). They handle flavor changes pretty well - I've never bothered to clean an Evod.

And the vape is pretty darn good. My current main device is a Kayfun lite and, while that's a much better vape, it's definitely not as hassel free. For one thing, I have to make the coils. For another, the tank has to be emptied to get at the coil/wick - which is really annoying when suddenly get that burnt taste and your (huge) tank is 3/4 full (Somehow it always happens when I'm away from home, too). It's quite leak proof but not totally - I've had small amounts of liquid come out the airhole in my pocket a few times.

Don't get me wrong, I love my KFL+, I've used it all day everyday since I got it while my egos get dusty and the old juice solidifies in my evods . .but you said "hassle free".

Slap Yo Moma tool from Big Daddy Vapor and the dual purpose tank tool/drip tip from IBTanked.

I give a description of my method of setting up a cartotank in this blog: BADITUDE'S CARTOTANK SETUP GUIDE

I use the Slap Yo Moma tank accessory tool (better design allowing easier access to add liquid to the tank), but the dual-purpose tank tool from IBTanked will work also. Because IBTanked's tool can also double as a drip tip mouthpiece, it is wider in diameter and does not allow as much room to add juice as the SYM tool.

Dying atomizers, cracking tanks, cleaning, charging - it's starting to add up time-wise! What are peoples' opinions on the absolute most hassle-free PV setups out there? Let's pretend money isn't an issue here for just a moment. The best.

Been at this close to 3 years. Go with a VV Ego and a Smok RBC with replacement coils. Isn't the prettiest set-up but it is very user-friendly for those of us who don't have the time or inclination to mess with things.

I went from Halo Tritons with plastic clearomizers to Vision Spinners with Kanger Mini Pro Tank II's with pyrex tanks. I recently bought an Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 from 101vape.com for $39.99 and liked it so well I bought another. I just checked and they are currently sold out at that price. Here is the ECF review that prompted me to buy it - you might like it also:

I like the MVP 2 for at home vaping but it is too large to take out and about so I can still put my Ego style batteries to good use.

Yeah I think the mvp2 is for me - can't decide whether to get it with 2x iclear 16s or an iclear 30. Shame vape101 doesn't ship to the uk - might get it locally and if i want another go to fastech. Think i might get some smoktech dual coil LR 2XL or 4XL carto so I don't have to refill them much. Might need a drip atomiser for tasting new flavours - ordered 30 x 1ml samples. You can make one on the cheap just by removing the material inside cartomiser can't you?

Yes, just remove the filler, leaving the center tube, and drip in a drop or two for a few puffs. Helps if you have a drip tip. I have a few cartos like this just for testing juice. Not a good thing for an auto battery because it can leak.

    22mm and 15mm Halfling IBTank's on budget-friendly vv's.

i won't win any awards for vape porn or monster clouds but this imho is the best blend of ease, maintenance, performance, portability and cost.

I don't know, that vv spinner sporting a halfling looks great. I think I'm going to grab one for my beach/fishing vape.

To be honest, at this moment my most hassle free setup is my nemesis with a kick and a davide tank with an aspire bdc head in it. The davide with aspire bdc heads hasn't flooded or given any dry hits since I first filled it up. I think since I've gotten it I've gone through 4 tanks without a problem. And with the airflow control wide open on the nemesis it gives me perfect airflow. I know it's not a cheap setup but this thread is about the most hassle free setup and so far this has been my most hassle free setup.

I bought a vamo v3 's and carto tanks for my parents who can't send a text message or turn on a computer, wear glasses and have arthritis, and who didn't really care to quit smoking and they haven't touched a cigarette in months..... Just saying, carto tanks... Bulletproof.

My EVOD tanks on eGo-C Twist batteries have had 0 problems in 6 months. Toss the coil when soaking it overnight in vodka doesn't revive it or put it in your "going to practice rebuilding someday" pill bottle. Rinse out the tank with hot water when changing flavors and make sure I have it all screwed back together right & tight before putting back on my eGo.

I recently added 2 iTaste VV 3's to my collection. I was all set to buy an ohm meter, a pass through ego, and one of the new VW ego batteries when I found the iTaste VV 3's do all of those things for less money than the VW ego was going to be. The VV 3's are a little pickier about how tight I screw the EVOD tanks on. The actual contact pin on the coil doesn't always make contact with the pin on the iTaste so some of my EVODs have to stay attached to the eGo batteries or I have to fiddle with the contact pin on the coil.

I really like the artistry of some of the carto tanks, though and will soon have to add at least one of those to my collection just to add some bling to my vaping hobby. And, the Firefly mini RDA/RBA is just so cute that I must have it to sample my DIY liquids with. Yes, I know I can take the stuffing out of my 808 cartos to do that but I'm sure everything will taste better out of that cute little Firefly--LOL.
