Whats the next step?

Hi. I have been vaping for a month now and saved over 200 dollars thanks to this forum. I started with a 510 kit from cig not, that was a very good choice i made after reading here. I have kicked analogs completely the day i recived my 510, now after a month the 510 dosnt cut it for me in terms of vapor production and TH. My next step i was going to take is to get a ego/riva/tornado kit and go from there. But i really think i would like to take my money and invest in a PV that will last me awhile in both battery life and the quality of the unit. I like the Black/Silver Bullet or the Joker maybe a Chuck. I know these cost a lot of money but i am seeing a savings in my wallet, and my overall health improving greatly. Im not opposed to spending a little more to get something that will be my pv for more then a few months with out needing to be replaced. So my question is where do i go next?

It was mostly a joke.
:)

Because if you read that whole thing, and check out all of the mods available...
Well, it might just blow your head straight off your neck.

And I don't want to be responsible for that!!

But yeah, that is probably the most comprehesive list of mods you can find.
And if you asked me, you might guess I'd recommend a Chuck.
;)

Your not biased on that recommendation are you? lol

The only thing i think i might not like about the chuck is the switch. It seems like it be weird to push and i have problems with my 510 going off in my pocket.
That is the main (and only) complaint about a Chuck.
And I don't recommend putting it in your pocket.

But then I don't recommend putting any electronic cigarette in a tight pocket.
Or any tight space, really, for that matter, unless it is an automatic.

Unless it is a manual which has an on/off switch of course.

But if you want one without an on/off switch, just unscrew the atomizer a few turns.
If the atomizer doesn't make contact, pressing the button will not do anything.

I think you were on the right track with the Riva/eGo/Tornado. With the new mega eGo cartoz and the mega eGo attys, you have a 5-6 hour vape with ejuice and battery. But if you're looking for a good mod and if you can take the box mod style, few are better than the Bartleby. It has a charging cable that can be used as a PT (no charger needed). It has an on/off switch and 510 connection so all you would need would be a wall plug with a usb adapter.

Bartleby

And with all the various ohm'ed attys and cartomizers, the variable voltage mods - Buzz, Fistpack, others are getting more attractive. Wattage is the key, not voltage, so finding the wattage sweetspot on vapor and flavor would be easier with the variables.

Hey there,

You mentioned that the 510 isn't cutting it for vapor production and TH. They only upside to the Tornado/Ego/Riva will be battery life. They won't improve what you seem to be missing, unless you go with a LR atomizer.
Personally, I would vote on a big battery mod that will do 3.7 +. There are some good ones out there, a couple which have been mentioned already.
In your checking out mods just don't forget to look at the new Precise. Super T makes a quality product.
Check out this thread:

Hope I was of some help

Ok... if spending money isn't a big concern... go to madvapes.com and get the Hello 016 and some Bauway atomizers. If that combo doesn't give you vapor, taste and TH, you must be vaping water instead of nic juice.

Oh.... and if an atomizer performance declines after a month of steady use... BRAG because most don't last that long.

Again, it's not voltage, it's wattage, and you can get a good 7.7 watts on an ToreGoRiva with a 1.5 LR atty or carto. A 5 volt with a 3.4 ohm atty/carto works too - 7.35W.

Come on now you're taking the fun out of it, we need to help this guys spend some money!

Seriously though my :2c: all of us that have put down the cigs should reward ourselves. Write off the starter kit. I was at the pharmacy at Wally World the other day and looked at the price of the patch because they are right there, and it's the price of a decent starter kit for a 2 week supply.

And BTW I always appreciate you posting the #s cause that way I get away with not writing them down. :D

So im thinking i would like to get a GLV 2 at 5 volts. It came down to that and a chuck. I read a lot of good things about it and i like the way it looks and how you hold it. I was trolling around and saw the new Joker with adj voltage. i know the first joker had its problems but i really liked it from when i first saw it online. Anyone know if the new joker is improved other then just slapping on a new piece that lets you control the voltage?

Some of you might tell me to look at the buzz but i just dont like how it looks really.

Wait. What mg juice are you vaping? I started out with 18mg (so called: high mg) cartos, because I was new, but it left me wanting more. 24mg juice is the sweetspot for me. When I do still "want more" my 5v passthrough rocks my head. This may be all you need, because the 510 should be giving you plenty. Also, as someone else mentioned. You might look into the LR atomizers. Of course, to use them, you'll need an ego type battery or a battery mod. They require 450mah+ batteries.

I think the GLV might be just the thing you will like. I prefer a back button myself and build my tube mods that way. Another one you may want to consider is the Saber Touch. It has a touch sensor switch that won't go off unless your finger actually makes the contact so no pocket firing.

Wait. What mg juice are you vaping?

I started with 18mg then went to 24 with my tasty vap juice. i like it alot better but still not what im looking for.

I know i just said i dont want a buzz but i read up on it watched some reviews and i think thats what i want to get. I like the fact i can goto 3.7v 5v and 6v all with the same batts. plus the green looks sick.:D
Anyone have input about it for me?
