But, Maybe their not understanding the Supply portion.

and it's not just those.. it seems like they run out of everything rba's etc..... come on now..... What's going to happen when word really gets out and more and more people make the switch to Ecigs vs Analogs...

juice Vendors too.. Why are we having to wait soooo long in order to recieve our orders... I understand that your NOT Phillip Morris....

But, Do you realise that your business is going to skyrocket here soon.... Plan ahead... stop having us wait for our orders..

I think the supply from China is lacking. All the cheaper juice delivery devices are produced in China and I believe vaping is catching on fire and they are having trouble keeping up with demand. This probably has something to do with the apparent lack in quality control in these devices, too. My bet is manufacturing management is demanding more output and this leads to poorer quality control.

I have a link in the blog entries, under my picture avatar. There you can find an article of a list of vendors, including direct links, who supply single coil cartomizers for tanks.

Hope that helps. :thumb:

That obviously has an impact here in the states. But the supply/demand thing is worldwide and started last summer. People were trying to ditch Boge during BogeGate because of a quality control issue, and this put stress on the vendors' supply of other brands of juice carrier devices. Shortages of all brands occured. This coupled by an unexpected rise in the people taking up vaping just steam rolled the problem.

Vendors demanded more product from China, and China wasn't prepared for the increased demand. They start pumping out more product to meet the middleman's need and in the process quality control issues happen. It's a vicious chain.

Are all the Carto's made in China.. Like everything else on the store shelves!!!!

makes me want to go to a RBA like a Zatty... Oh.. But their outta stock too.. otherwise I'd order one now.

It'd be nice if Germany started making some of these..... At least they Make Awesome products.
Well, We may as well start learning the language too..

所有的CARTO中国制造..就像在商店的货架一切!!

我想一个RBA像Zatty的去...呵呵..但他们也失控股票..否则我现在订购

It isn't necessarily that simple. This stuff comes from China, and there is a little something called "customs" involved. Two vendors I deal with have told me they get shipments either seized by customs - and that's the end of it - or refused by customs and returned to China, on a spasmodic basis. Things can be fine for months. Suddenly they have a problem with 3 out of every 8 shipments not being allowed into the country. Some times it's the shipments with nicotine in it - and the cartos that are in there too. Other times it's as if a specific China supplier has been "banned" by the FDA for several months. And then everything works normally. And repeat.

One vendor has speculated that their problems with customs seem to go up and down depending on the mood the FDA is in. Now that the FDA is saber rattling again with the deeming proposal, it wouldn't surprise me if USA vendors are seeing an up-tick in "FDA annoyances" again.

That said, the first two places I checked have 2 hole, single coil, 1.7 ohm tank cartos in stock:

Crystal Clear Vaping

Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL (Ignore the page blather about 3 holes, the drop down menu lists the 2 hole carto.)

Personally, having zero problems getting my liquids in a timely manner.

I could sound real stupid here but I've wondered why, since they make mods, manufacturers in other countries (USA included) don't start making everything that goes along with the mods/vaping threaded for the most populars like 510. For instance, I don't know if some of the proprietary pre-filled cartos are made outside China but why don't they jump on the blanks to sell enmass just like Boge does? I can think of so many manufacturers that are already set up to easily convert... like pen companies.

Not stupid at all. Now that you mention it, it does make me wonder why no one in the USA hasn't jumped on manufacturing cartos. These aren't technically complicated things requiring tons of complex machining. I mean, if we can come up with a host of peeps turning out all sorts of variations on rebuildable attys in their own workshops... Gotta be one vaper out there with a machining business who has at least thought about it.

The biggest issue I could see here would be manufacturing costs in the USA versus costs overseas. Could anyone in the USA produce a typical "standard" type carto at a $1.00-ish retail price?

I'd pay up to about $20 if I can find a rebuildable carto for my tanks... :(
I love my micro dct on my mini ego so much

What blows my mind is why you would want to PAY for someone else to punch your cartos? As for the juice, I LIKE my vendors to mix it for ME when I order it. I don't WANT prefilled/premixed juice.

Instead of complaining, why don't you educate yourself on steps you can take to avoid the unpleasantness of having to wait because YOU failed to plan ahead. You could learn DIY, you could punch your own cartos, but you are still going to have to learn to order your supplies well in advance of your needs in case something becomes out of stock.

I LOVE the vendors and applaud them for doing as good of a job as they are at getting my orders to me in a timely manner. It's the USPS I have a big problem with, but that is another thread.

I agree. I just started vaping just over a month ago, and I now understand the order in advance theroy, and trying to find my favorite juices so that I can order in bulk. I also placed a rather large DIY order aswell. To see if it's for me.

The punch your own carto must have been directed to another poster.. I'd do that myself in a heartbeat if I were able to find them.

You see when I bought my Provari.. I bought a vivi nova to have and to start with as I was waiting on my tanks to arrive from IBTanked.. They ship pretty fast.

But I only purchased 2 cartos.. smoktek 3.2 ohm just because I couldn't find any 2.4 -3.0ohms at that time.. And with my luck.... Both of them failed..

I love my Juice vendors aswell.. Due to high demand it takes several days before they ship.. I completely understand. I'm just saying that it would be nice if they were able to move production a little quicker.

Afterall, Vaping is really taking off big time. and I'm sure that theirs going to big BIG MONEY in the sales. so with that these vendors should start to see enough increase in revenue so they then can move quicker on production. maybe.

I just checked and IBTanked has them in stock. I am not sure what ocean you are in, but if it is the Pacific OCD (IBTanked's owner) is located in California and the ship time shouldn't be too long.

Get yourself verified, they often have coops for them where you can buy in bulk. You just have to be aware that coops take time to generate the interest, get the payments, order from China, then ship to the USA and then reship to you. But for the cost savings, and having a ton of them on hand, nothing could be better. I think I must have 20 boxes sitting in my secret stash hole under the stairs (shhhh, don't tell, it's secret!) ;)

Now is the best time to get into DIY also. Everyone is scampering to get their high level NIC for when the FDA makes a decision on what to do about the wild west of ecigs these days. No one knows, but at the least I would think they want to tax the nic for the revenue and I for one don't want to pay a ton of taxes!
