I was just on the ikenvape site and saw some new things. The Fusion Punch has peaked my interest. Can the Fusion be better? It is pre-punched, probably where the name came from. I also saw a 510 punch and many beautiful Pyrex glass driptips. The Purple one was nice but with my love of the Fusions I can't wait to try these little darlins.

I would think they are the same. I prefer a punch as opposed to the dremel punch, but I do punch my own. But it will be nice for those who don't punch their own. And I got a pink, green & amber pyrex drip tips. I have wanted to try them. And for the firtst time I ordered some I06 3.5's. I am going to pull my 5v back out & give it a try. I am one of the few that actually prefers 3.7v.

Although I am a Fusion lover like 5Card, for some reason, I have been dripping almost exclusively for the last month. It is amazing how the temperature affects my vaping habits!

Yeah, I saw the Fusion Punch, but it looked like it was just a regular Fusion with holes for tanks. I'm so used to slotting them myself with my Dremel, I didnt bother to try. Are they different in any other ways?

I didn't see any or hear of any changes other than the look shinier. Like Player I prefer the hammer and awl instead of my Dremmel. I like one tiny hole in them. Probably because I use 100% PG and it's thinner but I'll be trying some on my next order. BTW FYI My Vivi Nova is still working great. That's from someone that hates CE's and that style atty because of their wicking issues. I got so tired of wasting money trying to find one that would work. This Nova and the Imist are the only 2 I've found that do. Oh and the Ikon but I don't vape 3.7 volt very often. Also the Ikvision seems to be doing alright but nothing, NOTHING!, vapes like a fusion.
If My Vivi Nova keeps doing good I'll have to start calling it my Boss-a-Nova. :):):)

Me too! Got the notification email and went looking for my fusions yesterday. Got the fusions in my cart and went looking for some 510 cartos. That's when I saw the punch!

put some fusion punch and platinum punch in my cart and checked out. Anxiously waiting now. Weee!!!

5C, I finally used up my LR fusions and this time ordered SR. Do you (or anybody) find the SR more satisfying at higher volts than the LR at low Vs? Or is it about the same?

I cant explain it, but even on my Darwin, the LRs just hit better than SRs to me at the same wattage. I know it defies science, but I can really tell a difference. Weird.

They also stress you batteries more. I burn't up 3 sets testing LR on a 5 volt Mod. They were made for 3.7 volt devices so they could compete in the mod market. You can raise the voltage or lower the resistance. just my :2c:

Yeah, it's a bit of a different situation on the Darwin since it is adjusting the voltage according to the resistance of the cartomizer. With a LR Fusion at 5.3 watts, it pulls about 3.6 volts. With a SR Fusion, because the resistance is higher, the voltage will adjust higher accordingly (I cant remember exact numbers since it's been a while on an SR). Based on Ohm's Law, LR and SR *shouldn't* be any different at all at the same wattage. I dont know if it has to do with the different resistances of the main wire and coil... or if I'm just crazy, but it feels different to me. I just prefer the LRs. YMMV.

Awe geez jmlott! You are trying to make me crazy too, eh? :)

You're the first one I remember hear say that LR is better than SR (or HV) at the same watts. Most people say higher resistance is better, right? (maybe something to do with the heat spreading out??) Anyway, yes, 5C, besides the experience, I figure its less stress on the mod and definitely better battery life.

Ya it's a great vape at around 8 watts give or take a few but hey everyone to their own likes.

I just got some of the new Fusion Punch's and they are beautiful. They are shinier than the old fusion and the holes are just the right size for me. Plus it's nice not seeing that dimple where the hole was on the ones I punched. They are just a tiny bit higher than where I put them but I think that's so they will work on the tanks that have the thicker end caps. The M1A1 tank has very thin caps but they aren't too high. So far they are working great. I'm very happy with them.

I got some punches coming as well, need to try them out. I used to punch mine then went to a #55 drill bit = perfect size :)

So far these are working out great and they look so much nicer, more like chrome. I'm really liking them a lot. I used to use a Dremel then a drill and settled on a hammer and Awl but now I'm going to start buying these.

My old set up.

They are the same length as the regular Fusions. I have an M1A1 tank from notcigs and they stick out the top about 1/4". I also have the M1A1 XL and I use mega fusions, mega platinum's, or mega 808 in it. Unless you have a special made tank most tanks are made to accept standard length and mega length cartomizers.
