my USB pass through isn't working with LR carto's, only attys and HR Carto's

i love these LR carto's the HR have a weird taste is this normal or is my pass through messed up

and i seen people saying dont plug it into your comp but no reason why, will it do something to my laptop?

wow, im not sure as i havent really used a passthrough alot. what kind is it? i did have an ego t passthrough when i first started out and had it plugged into the computer but i was running ego t tanks on it.

I have to be honest, this is way over my head. I'm not at all familiar with 5v devices (I thought you couldn't use LR on 5v) and not all that familar with pass-thrus. I have one but I use the wall charger. I'm a little afraid I'll somehow fry my computer.

Yes but i dont think it supports 5 volts cus all it does is blink when i plug it in the wall... i did get the 5 volt car charger thing but i didnt try it yet

iv been vaping like crazy thru my laptop and it seems fine...

You're trying to draw too much amperage with an LR carto. It'll work on a 3.7 volt battery due to the lower wattage. The higher the voltage at a given resistance, the higher the wattage (aka) power draw. A standard USB passthrough will only support about an amp or so. You're asking it to pull about 2.5 or thereabouts. A SR atty will scream at that voltage though. Has to be 2.5 ohm or higher. I hope this helps.
