Hello All,

I've lurking around here getting all the info I could about vaping and finally decided to register, it's helped a lot. I've been a smoker for 10 years and had my last cig July 2, 2013.

Mods so far:
Provari v2.5 with z-atty pro 2.1 (hating ceramic wicks!!!)
Titan v1.5 with nautilus rba (knock on me if you will because I can't find an Odysseus anywhere!!!)

Hey! I just joined myself, after a week of lurking, gathering info. This seems like a terrific group, great sharing of good information.

After a short foray with store bought disposables, i have eGos with ce4 cartos now. I like the flavors from Virgin Vapor but they are strong! Have to cut them with VG to mellow. I am still smoking regulars, but have gone from a pack and a half a day, for 25 years, down to a quarter of a pack in a week without even really trying! The vaping is drawing me in!!! I am just letting it happen, pretty sure analogs will be gone in a few more days! I am one happy newbie vaper!

Congrats on your quitting! I hope to join you very soon!

Congrates on registering. My thoughts on the lurkers is that it serves an injustice. The more we have registerd the more potential voters can be quantified. :2c:

I feel you. I lurked around to a month researching because I didn't want to ask any dumb questions. Lol. After all the lurking, I've learned how to coil wicks, DIY my juices, and helped a lot of my friends fade away from analogs.

I'm definitely here to help out and support the cause.

There's definitely never a dumb question , but rather a question that could've have been answered just by using the search button. :toast:

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on your new gear.

However, there are a few small issues with your line of reasoning about using the ECF search feature rather than asking what may seem to be a "dumb" question.

Vaping technology is changing so quickly and so many new products are being introduced that yesterday's correct and appropriate answer might, quite literally, be wrong-headed today.

ECF has so many posts that a search may result in someone new having to wade through countless pages of posts using terminology and concepts that they simply don't understand.

Also, there is no such thing as one size fits all when it comes to vaping. A helpful answer for one person may well be worse than useless for someone else. For example, my vaping happy place of maximizing all the delicate, nuanced flavors of my fruity, sweet and tea juices is not going to come close to cutting it for someone who wants and needs the taste stimulation of some sort of atomic flavored juice combined with blowing out the back of their skulls with vapor production and vice-versa.

The one thing I love the most about ECF is that people are welcomed with open arms and helpful responses to their "dumb" questions rather than people inferring they are stupid, lazy and aren't worth anyone's time by telling them to use Google or search.
