only 1 of my attys works on eather of the batteries, so i thought it was just the atty, but i went to charge the problem battery i left it charge for like 3 or 4 hours and still the red light was on, the atty did work but had to screw it all the way on, then unscrew it 3/4 of a turn. some1 said to clean the white ring on it, but how can i its a tight space to stick anything in there, but when i look at the threads on the battery and have brown stuff on it, but dont know how to clean it, and im not even sure if this is the issue, the atty is only 4 or 5 days old, so it cant be dead yet right?

I've had performance issues with my eGo when the atty-battery connection is dirty. I just clean them with a dry q-tip.
I first noticed things were dirty when a battery was taking longer than usual to charge - and the battery was getting hot. Cleaning the threads fixed that problem, too.

well just tried and no luck....guess ill just have to get a new batt. thinkin of a 900 mah or i hear that have 1300mah....
Sounds like the atty may be shorting out. Is it a Joye 510? They aren't as prone to shorting out when screwed on too tight as the Bauways or BE510.
