Whats up with this battery?

I couldn't find the exact battery I linked to earlier but this one is a 26650 4.2 volt (4.7 volt full charged) 4000mAh PCB protected battery. Kick ... battery if you ask me...http://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-26650-...871029922?pt=US_Batteries&hash=item4ab5675ca2

Can't see the link. However all 3.7v lion batteries we use actually measure 4.2 when fresh from the charger. Probably just an advertising play and no different than other 18650s.

Look for an 18650 that uses a Panasonic cell (or a Japanese source) if you want the best. As DonG said, 4.2v is the unloaded spec for all Li-ion cells. 3.7v is the average voltage once the initial charge stabilizes under load. Unloaded voltages don't provide much indication of what you will get once an atomizer is in play.
