Today was vape Bash in Chicago, apparently, well, not really Chicago, somewhere out there by Rosemont, it's not really Chicago, and also tomorrow. When I first heard about it I was like, right on, I'm there. But then I never heard anything about it again. Nothing. From nobody. I even emailed them. I let them know I represent a book called vape Mania, and that even though I was too late to reserve a vendor's table, I'd still like to participate if there was any way possible. Guess what. No reply. Nothing. Nada. Obviously I wasn't there today. I won't be there tomorrow, not because of any hard feelings, just don't want to travel all the way to Rosemont to find out it isn't happening or it's lame or whatever. I guess there's still time. Does anyone know anything about this thing? Anyone want to convince me that I should get on a few trains and make my way to some hotel in Rosemont to attend vape BASH???

i cant imagine having the means of doing so and not checking it out. supposed to be the biggest vape meet in the country.

i'm not going to try to convince you. it's really up to you if you want to check it out

I'm not sure what the "biggest vape meet in the country" is suppose to mean. I held the "biggest poetry fest" in Chicago for eight years straight and still managed to respond to the emails that I got. What does that mean exactly? Hundreds? Thousands? I'm really not sure. From the line up that I saw of vendors, nobody local was represented. So what it is, like a Grateful Dead concert, where Vape Bash groupies just fly to Chicago and hold a bash preaching to their own? I don't understand it actually. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

Ugh, this is why I couldn't order my 100ml bottle of El Kamino from Good Life. They made a trip to Chicago and shut down their website. THANKS, Vapebash ;p

I'm actually considering starting my own Vape Fest in Chicago. It would be located in the inner city and would have the purpose of actually exposing e-cigs to those who don't know anything about it. I have a lot of experience organizing festivals and things like that. It's certainly a thought.

Plenty of videos on line from previous years if you're truly curious. It's more like a trade show than a local vape meet.

Not sure what a video is going to tell me. I mean, if I have actually emailed the sponsor or whatever and they just ignored me, not sure what a video is going to do to convince me it's a cool fest instead of a nerd fest.

Not sure that anybody can convince you if anything from the sounds of it. It runs late at night, so you might get more attempts in a bit. I was there...it was ok. I was more impressed with vape blast in Dallas honestly.

So far nobody has made any attempt to convince me. Okay, maybe I should be more specific, it's ten pm chicago time right now, tomorrow is the second day vape bash, if anyone can please tell me WHY I should go to vape bash tomorrow feel free, if someone wants to say "i don't know how I can convince you" then don't bother, either convince me or don't.

Because seriously, I'm just wondering, I've been into vaping for the last seven months, following it religiously, and if I don't know what's up with Vape Bash, then who does? I mean, I get it, I use to be there, throwing bashes for the sake of the bash, but that just tends to implode over time since you are never expanding beyond your little circle. Okay. I'm ranting. LOL

I was there earlier today. It wasn't too big, lots of vendors for hardware. Also quite a few juice vendors so it was a good chance to taste more than what is available from my local shops. All in all it's worth the trip if you're close. It's in one of the larger conference rooms at the hotel if that gives you any idea of the size

OP, no disrespect intended, but perhaps nobody wants to respond because you come across as an arrogant self-centered person?

I had to ask myself whether or not this thread is simple troll bait, but whatever I'll bite.

It's a friggin' big vape meet. There are vendors who pay to be there. You try and buy stuff. You maybe meet people in person you know online. You inhale a stinky mist of about a thousand vapers exhale. What the hell is the damn mystery here buddy?

You represent a book on vaping? Well now, I'm sure it's a fine book... really.

Sorry you have .... hurt because the organizers did not cater to your every whim. Clearly you are a super important person. Good luck with your superior "Vape Fest" that you plan to coordinate in the future.

Well that was a lot of unnecessary hostility. No, I'm no special person, just an average person, actually a person who had a great desire to attend the vape bash. Not sure what your problem is. I don't think replying to an email is "catering to a whim" but if it is, excuse me, I was mistaken.

Not sure why you are so hostile. I'm actually solicitiing opinions to try to convince me to go to the Vape Bash, and you're like, either go or go to hell.
