So as of the moment, i'm using my atty. It's a joytech 510 and cartridge too, i can't tell if the nasty taste is coming from the atty or the cartridge itself, how can i tell? All help appreciated, thanks.
Your juice probably ran a bit too low and burnt the atty, refill it and give it a while and the burnt taste should go, if it doesn't you may need a new atty, sometimes they save themselves, always keep them wet mate, good luck

I had this happen a lot with my 510 tank, it always happened if I let the tank run empty, if your using a cartridge with filler material just make sure the cartridge/tank doesn't run dry, I second what adeline says wash it all under hot water and blow out, refill your cart and start again, if a 510 coil runs dry it is pretty grim, if its still bad after another try bin it, hope this helps
I didn't realize anyone was still using cartridges with atomizers anymore. They do have a particular orientation they need to be inserted, with the opening of the cartridge lining up with the cup of the atty. That burning plastic taste may actually be burning plastic; a quick look at your cartridge should tell you that. Also, too much menthol in a juice tastes like burning plastic to my palate.
