This can be from many things. It could be the wrong topper for the device or the coils could be dirty. Your tastebuds are still damaged from smoking, this will blunt your ability to taste properly. The quickest fix is to drink lots of water, then drink more. If you are dehydrated it will mess up the taste of your juices.

I would also like to know what you are using for equipment and how do you have it set. What ohms coils are you using and at what voltage are your vaping at?

How long has it been since you quit smoking?Like mentioned above your taste buds will be out of whack for a while after quitting,i quit smoking and started vaping about 9 months ago and some things are just here very recently starting to taste the way they should, some still dont yet.I smoked for 25 years,so it'll take some time before things get where they should be.

to ecf Linger. So glad to have you here. As suggested it could be what you are using or just taking time for the taste buds to come back. I have read where people said their tastes never came back. I hope they do for you both. I guess I was lucky because I found some decent juices to begin with but it was not until I started making my own that I could really say I enjoyed them. I'm proof that it is pretty darn easy to do. After the initial cost of getting your nic and vg & pg and flavorings, you would be surprised at just how much money you can save. Of course DIY is not for everyone but for me it is a lot of fun and quite cost effective.

Here is a thread where you can find some juices that are on sale. You might already know about it but just thought I'd throw it out there. I relied on this before I started making my own.

Good luck to you both and again, have fun and make yourself at home.

Been vaping over 200 days now. And sweet and dessert style flavours just started tasting good like two weeks ago. Got some peanut butter, chocolate and banana flavored juice called jedi slayer or late night snack depending on where you got it, made me want to hurl. Up until two weeks ago. It's been my ADV since then lol.

Myself I've been vaping for over 8 months, the wife over 6 months. I just changed over to an Atlantis on top of a sxmini running at between 13w-22w (haven't found the sweet spot yet). I was using a mvp with either a Nautilus or Aspire BDC. The wife is on a Itaste with the Aspire BDC(was previously on an Ego).
The vape shops all use an Aspire type tank with either a MVP or Ego style mod. We have found a couple of favors each that we like, but we're always trying new ones that we can hopefully put in our rotation. But alot, and I mean ALOT of the ones we try are just not flavorful.

Know your feelings . . . over 40 years of "ready rolls," about two years of vaping. sense of smell and taste believe almost totally gone and they didn't get a round trip ticket.
Coffee related flavors do come through more than others. Found Mocha Java Drizzle from Vape Dudes near Dallas that is a steady performer, vapor so rich you think you could bite it. DIY helped a bit. Mocha and watermelon from TFA work. Still searching for a decent peach.
Not very interested in sweets but could find one that comes through would consider it.
Hope your taste returns better than mine has. Vapor tongue is a real thing and usually passes eventually. good luck . . ..

A lot of B&M juice just isn't any good. It's made worse by the equipment used for taste testing. Are you having this issue with "premium" juices as well? I found my complaints about lack of flavor went away with 2 things. I stopped buying B&M house blend juice, and I upgraded my equipment.

Now that is certainly the truth.

Steeping your liquid, vapors tongue, taste buds adjusting, and some juices just lack flavor. It could be any of these or any combination of the above mentioned issues. I have experienced all of these things. I had vapors tongue for a month last summer and I could not taste any liquid even anise. I tried everything and it just took time, a lot of water, and some biotene to work itself out.

Stick with it and you will get it sorted out and when you do it will all be worth while. Congratulations and I promise that there is nothing wrong with either of you. In fact quite the opposite!
