EVOD 650 & 1000 mah batteries EVOD tanks and a couple of regular size ProTank 2s and mini ProTank 2s. (I have to have 3-4 flavors so I don't get bored.)

Since I really haven't found "THE ONE" yet, I'll say that at home it's usually a mech with a dripper on top, and out and about it's a vv/vw device with a tank and an Ego C-Twist with a cartomizer as backup.

Can someone please explain to me what a "mech" is?

If you all are referring to mechanical mods like the REO Grand or the Precise Plus, then please just refer to them by name.

Who decided to lump all 3.7V (non-VV or VW) into one group and call them "mech mods"?

I think it's ridiculous.

In a local brick and mortar, there are young employees saying "Dude, you should try a mech mod" and I am like ...??? Is he referring to a 3.7V mechanical mod versus one with an electronic fire switch? I was vaping "mech mods" before this kid knew what an ecig was.

So annoying. New trends. Stupid names. OK, all done.

What:

Smoke-E-Mountain - "Vanilla from Manila"
Kayfun 3.1 Brushed - Cotton wick
MNKE 18650 Battery

Why:
Started out with a K100 and a Protank, swapped the protank for an Igo-W and an RSST. My B&M Didn't have any upgrades for the RSST so I got the Vanilla Mech Mod which I love. Then came the Kayfun and I don't think i'll ever go back to a standard genny. MNKEs based on B&M Rec's and their Specs.

That's pretty much my setup, minus that awesome carrying case.:p

What is that and where can I get one?

Thanks for your help.

I got it on ebay for 2 or 3 dollars. Its just the standard medium sized ego zip case. (If my pic is the one you're referring to) I never leave the house without it! :D

thanks everyone. Yes, ever since I started dripping, there has been no messing with anything else! The Igo w is cheap, effective and if you are lucky enough to find one with holes in the posts (the first batch of igos, I beleive) grab it! I personally open up both airholes to at least an 1/8 for each hole. im deffinately a ripper! I have 2, one for each mech I own. Wondering if the 50$ difference is worth it to upgrade to a patriot...

Good day and Welcome.....
I would say no to your suggested upgrade and only because it seems that you are into the clouds. I don't think there is much out there that does 50 dollars better than a IGO-W when it comes to that style of vaping. I have different drippers for different vaping styles... One for the clouds and a few for improving flavor/vapor combos if that makes sense.

As for my all day device, for me it is a day to day thing. I end up a fair amount of the time with a VW device of some kind and a protank type. Just flat out reliable and battery lasts all of my work day. I take my mechanical's and genesis tanks allot too, but batteries die off quicker and heavy vapor tend to make my co workers a bit cranky. The protank can more than satisfy me for the work day.... But I will put it down the second I get home make no mistake about that :2cool:

A mech mod is any pv that doesn't have any complex circuitry (it's "mechanical") and just some simple contacts and a button that is just a piece of metal moving up and down.
Mechanical tube mods are essentially a tube, two contact pins, and a button to push one of the contacts. No circuit boards or ic's.

Okay then what is Silver Bullet or a Bolt? No circuit board, but most definitely wires.

They are just regulated pvs, they don't have the fancy circuitry vv/vw devices do but they are regulated by some basic circuitry.

Circuit boards don't mean anything, they are just a way to compact circuits, any circuit board can be made with just wires, it may not be as efficient but it is possible. Now in complex things like say a processor, obviously the regularity of a circuit board is a must but all a circuit board is is compressed material with thin wires in it.
