What are you looking for in a vaporizer? Durability? Variable voltage? Variable Wattage? Tube? Box? Size preferences? What do you consider high end?eGo-c is what I use daily. I'm very new to vaping and the lingo but am learning a lot from these forums. Any suggestions for a high end vaporizer that can be used nightly or a night on the town?
Hey all. First time poster on ECF but a long time vaper! For me it's a joyetech evic with a kanger evod. Have been thinking lately about moving over to the rebuildables but I don't think I have the patience to wrap a tiny wire up every time I'm craving a puff! lol
Okay then what is Silver Bullet or a Bolt? No circuit board, but most definitely wires.
They are just regulated pvs, they don't have the fancy circuitry vv/vw devices do but they are regulated by some basic circuitry.
Circuit boards don't mean anything, they are just a way to compact circuits, any circuit board can be made with just wires, it may not be as efficient but it is possible. Now in complex things like say a processor, obviously the regularity of a circuit board is a must but all a circuit board is is compressed material with thin wires in it.
MPV 2 and a protank, Lasts all day, and more.

Regulated just means there is something in the pv that watches the voltage output or watches whats happening to the battery. While most regulated devices do have some form of vv/vw built in, regulation does not mean the device can alter the output voltage.Good question. They are not regulated. People consider them mechanical, but I think most people don't consider them true mechs because of the wires. There is no real classification for them that I know of.
They have no chips or boards. Just wires connecting the switch to the 510 connection and/or the negative battery terminal. They are not regulated. Regulated means the output voltage is controlled regardless of the battery voltage.

For example, if the battery is putting out too low of a voltage, something like the Silver Bullet wouldn't fire because it recognizes it is dangerous, you were just regulated. The same thing goes for current and a whole bunch of other things some pv's watch for such as shorts.
A true mech mod, would fire regardless of what is happening with the battery (since you are just connecting the terminals with no sort of regulating electronics in between), while some have hot springs and stuff to protect you from a catastrophic failure, it will fire unless the battery has failed.
