I have been looking around A LOT for the passed week and have widened my shopping cart a bit too much. There are so many big PV's out there that I don't really know which one to buy first. I have read a bunch of reviews and watched many video reviews as well.

I just wanted to know how you HV users and big PV fans felt about which one of these is the best choice for vapor/flavor/battery life and everything else that goes with it. I am about to purchase one or two of these and hope that I can get a final bit of advice before I make the plunge. Thanks to all who vote.

Here are the big battery/HV mods that I have found that seem to be at the top of the food chain.

Adaptever
Chuck
GG
GLV
Prodigy
Screw Driver
Shotgun
Silver Bullet
Super 6
Xhaler

If you vote for one, please post a little description of why you made your selection. Pros/Cons, best uses, best juices for your choice of battery/atomizer combination (if applicable).

(I apologize if this is the 1000th post of this type, but peoples opinions change over time and new models are released and faults are realized from past models.)

Here and back
I'll vote for the XHaler. You can save $$$ by going this way. Get the full kit, $158.00 and you can vape at 3.7, 5, 6 +more. Works EVERY time unlike others. I have it in my hand all day. Great batt life, change once in the am and once at night. I use a 901 cart, with Drew's Delron (??) drip tip. I use tobacco flavors, personal choice. I can't live without it.

PS - I have other mods, they work SOMETIMES. Nuff said.

Good luck whichever way you go.

do they make a thin battery that will put out 6V yet? Dont get me wrong i can't even look at my ego anymore now that i have my xhaler but i'd love something similar to the ego's size and look but the performance of my xhaler. just wondering...

This sounds like you need to try a LR 510 atty on your Ego then. I use one on my Chuck, and it is almost as good as my V2.

The bad thing here is that I can't see the results unless I vote. I don't own/haven't used any of the mods listed, only a DIY 5v regulated box mod with a 510 atty, and my 3.7v 905.

I'm rather interested in the results since a HV mod is something on my wish list.

Mabye add a DIY option? Or maybe a N/A. Or not. Just would like to see the resulsts without throwing off the accuracy.

So LR atomizers increase the performance of lower volt mods? I mean, will a 3.7 put out more vapor or flavor with a LR atty than a standard atty? Just wondering what the actual effect of the LR atty is and what it can do for smaller mods.

Yes it will increase the performance. A regular atty produces around 5.9 watts at 3.7v and around 10.8 watts at 5v. A 1.5 ohm atty (LR) on a regular 3.7v produces around 9.1 watts of power. Pretty close to the 5v. More power, more heat, more vapor.

Gotta throw my vote on the GG. It's high quality, adaptable to different voltages, new feed system on the way, you can add a fuse for futher protection, its got a locking switch, and it's available with no wait from Vapor Kings..Rob will take care of you as well. I also got some HV 901 attys and so far it is the BOMB !! I'm happy and Vapor Kings will do you RIGHT...:D:D:D

Quasimod's Rule states that: "The availability of any particular Big Battery Mod is inversely proportionate to your desire to purchase it".

In other words, the mod you decide on will most likely be "Out of Stock" when you decide to pull the trigger. Here is a graphical representation to illustrate the concept:

It's not a "big" battery mod, but I've been really enjoying my Bartleby. The size, USB charging and PT functionality has made it really convenient for most situations. I did want something that would last a full day or more, so I just placed an order for an Indulgence with the 18650 battery cup. Between the interchangeable atty connectors (it comes with the big 4) and the relatively low price, it is probably the best "first big mod". I mostly use cartomizers, but this will allow me to use 510/901/801 attys as well without bothering with adapters. I only wish it had a less ridiculous name.
