Is the juice from V4L dekang?

I had emailed V4L recently about the source of thier ejuice. They replied back that is all made in China. They did not specify a vendor although they stated that the WOW line is a different china manufacturer than the NoBacco line

I'm looking at a new bottle of V4L Wow Cappuccino now and it has YNDK on the cap which leads me to believe it is Dekang.

I understand why every vendor feels the need to change the name, but I hate that. To me it does a disservice to the customer.

Agree. rebranding seems to be a major source of confusion fro hardware and juice in the ecig world. Especially to the newbs.

It's a huge disservice. Imagine if Best Buy, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. re-branded and renamed every one of their products.

Like anything else the best you can do is vote with your dollars. Don't support shops that disrespect their customers. Support vendors like madvapes and valuevapor who are straight up about what the're selling. I love that VV has a mini-rant on their juice page talking about how so many shops sell unaltered Chinese juice and pretended that it's their own blend.

The problem with V4L is it's all mixed old and new batches of juice, and when i say old i mean like 9 months old stock, my buddy just got some so called 'premium juice' and 3 of the 5 bottles were the old perfumey / chemical garbage dated from january, if it's blatantly bad why wouldn't they stop selling the stuff ? Not like they don't have the money to lose.... there are still some of the old recipes which taste good most of them are in the 5ml bottles, but still, would be nice for people to know what they're buying beforehand.

Agree. Checking the date on my bottle which I just received last week it has a production date of 31052010 - which I guess is June 31, 2010. Not too bad in that case.

Vendors simply had to rename their juice, Dekang were shipping bottles out with Marlboro and the likes on them, couple of people got letters. Even before the letters came, those who could see that some pretty hefty trademakrs were being infringed, change the names of the liquids. There was no central resource for names, I know for one we would have prefered to call the liquids the same as other vendors, but there was no framework to do so. To call it a disservice is harsh, if it was done with the intention of confusing the customer then I would agree but I doubt if this was the case that often.

Dekang are exceptionally precious about their bottles, I would doubt they would sell them to someone to put another companies juice in them. I am basing this doubt on what happened to another source of bottles that used the same cap (without the dekang stamp on) and they had to be taken off sale until an alternative cap was made.

Yes, you might have. I have the old bottles (the mould for which was objected to) and the new bottle tops made from the new mould and there is no difference. My point is really is that dekang wouldn't be selling their bottles, with YNDK on them, for other people to put their liquids in it, they don't need to make their money off selling bottles.
