It's a toss up for me, but VV is definately the deciding factor; being able to change attys and dial it in creates a unique vaping experience. I love the Buzz and it's been my go to for a while; but I just finished a Black Walnut VV Box mod and it's getting a lot of use. Even with the advantages of a VV PV, I keep picking up my GGTB. With a LR atty, it really produces both vapor and flavor in abundance.

Up until Don couldn't stock it, Malty Toffee was my all day every day ejuice. other than that, I'm doing a lot of DIY looking for chocolate perfection.

Favorite mod is my Chuck. I like the screwdriver also because it's 100% mechanical. No wires or bull-sh. I've tried a few other mods that I don't personally own and they were "meh" at best. I use Bauway LR 510 atomizers with my chuck and Alien Vision's apple teaser juice because it has the most kickin throat hit I've ever experienced, I mean dayyuuum. I also have a love hate relationship with tastyvapor's waffle :(. And for the record, the only reason the screwdriver isn't my favorite is because it only comes in 901 threading unless you buy it straight from the UK (no thanks). I absolutely hate using adapters on PV's. I'm actually looking for an 18650 mod because I'm getting spoiled by battery life. The 18350 little chuck just isn't cutting it anymore in terms of battery life. I was thinking about just getting a big chuck but I really don't want two mods with crappy switches ;). Wish I could put the screwdriver mechanical switch on my chuck- then life would be perfect. Sigh.

I must be easy to please. I don't seem to need 5 volts or low resistance attys. My favorite vape is a 3.7 volt Big battery flashlight mod (18650), simple with no electronics in it. When the battery start to fall off, I change it out. A little higher voltage, or a VV would probably fix that. My current favorite carto is the CE2-XL, modded clear, and my second choice is the eGo Mega Carto, and of course Redbull and some other flavor mixed (but nothing strange). When the 3.7 volts, and a nice clean carto are "tuned in" it gives me all the vape I need.
Sometimes I'm tempted to go to higher voltage, but what I have is more than sufficient.
100% smoke free for close to two years.

Wow, where to start

When I smoked, I smoked 2 ppd for 35 years. I smoked the same brand, menthol 100s and never changed.

Now that I vape....well, I am a very fickle vaper after close to 3 years at it.....

-I LOVE my big Chuck. My Big Chuck has never given me a minute of this "switch problem." The 5 Lil Chucks I have picked up here and there on classies have had switch issues but I attribute that to user error and lack of regular maintenance. By Chuck at 3.7 V with 18650 battery lasts 24 hours, hits everytime and is very indestructible when dropped, or even when run over by an SVU. (sad but true!) The big Chuck is named Sir Charles and is my main go to vape when craving or wanting the "regular smoking" feel.
-Lil Chuck, IMO is a waste of money after trying various other 3.7 volt mods.
-Prodigy V2 at 5 volts with 901 slb atty is vaping bliss for me for my caramel concoctions and various sundries of flavors. The flavors are pronounced and the vape is smooth. Hubby, who never smoked except for the occasional cigar, has come to ask for "his vaper" and when he says that....he is asking for the V2 with a 901 and a whistle tip cart and zero nic cupcake DIY. He enjoys his vape time very much. Throat hit is not a pronounced item with this set-up.
-VV Big Brother- nice feel in hand, does not feel sturdy, feels very fragile and makes me a nervous wreck. IMO, not worth the dough or the ink to print about it.
-saber touch- nice mod if you have pre-moistened hands, which I do not. Wash dishes by hand and soak for one hour and perhaps no licking of fingers is necessary....but...I am just not a licker, I guess.
-XHaler by NHaler with new switch- this mod is a great vaping machine. With the new switch it is much improved but still requires very regular maintenance. It is not a mod for anyone with less than a year of vaping experience or a mechanical background. I enjoy the XHaler with a 901HV atty and vape at higher voltages with either HV e-liquid or with higher VG concentrations and less water or PGA e-liquids. Very pronounced flavor and enjoyable vaping. negative side? No well for the dripper...so when dripping beware of leaking around connection.
-Lox Box- a 3.7V 14500 battery box mod simply hits like it is 5volts. I know not why, nor do I care. Lox does know his way around a box and he has gone over my box and I can attest to Lox knows the Box. I enjoy this mod with all flavors and blends and find it easy to tote along, stealth vape and enjoy in the recliner.
-protege- 3.7 volt 14500 battery. Puresmoker has good machined mods, no doubt. The endcaps can be changed to use every atomizer available and it is a sturdy little mod that has served as a tag along back-up as it is light and portable.
-Puresmoker 5v passthru- well, what can I say, it hits like a horse at the sweet spot and with regular cleaning is very reliable.
-I include for sentimental purposes, my first mod...the one that I quit smoking with....The original Cisco laser mod. 10440 battery mod with what we thought in the pre-modding era was excellent battery life. A whole....drum roll please....4 hours! I still have it and cherish it.
- I have others, I will not mention as there is nothing noteworthy to discuss.

e-liquid faves
Everyday, I want a smoke e-liquid, craving e-liquid....good ole 555 or RY4, I use it less and less but always have some (OK a LOT) available for those times
Caramel is my passion. Mixed on, in or over any other e-liquid it just makes everything better IMO
DIY Caramel Popcorn with a butter back note is a necessity and is vaped evenly with caramel apple throughout the day.
Nic Liquid- have had extremely bad experiences and will only use Levis at xtreme vaping. It is pharm grade, clear and lacks that familiar bug spray essence found with bluemist, dekang and others.
Vendor produced e-liquid- Was a fan of FSUSA...now am not for both political and business practice reasons. PM if interested, I am not a flamer.
If I were asked what vendor I would prefer to vape I would say NHaler HV e-liquid or Good Prophets. This is not because I believe there are not others that make e-liquid as well or better, I just know that Drew and Rob care about the vaping community and I support those who support the cause...(Do you?..what has your vendor done to preserve our right to vape?)

Well, that is the answer to the OP...are you sorry you asked me?

I would be...LOL

HUGS to all and happy vaping and BTW anyone that I know that wants a trial run of a mod I have before buying...LMK...glad to lend.

Ooh bonnie, that's a good idea! I'll put it out there, too - if anyone from PIF wants to try my Chuck (3.7 & 6V), Fistpack (variable from low 4V to mid 5V) or GLV (5V), let me know. Fistpack would probably be the easiest because it's USB chargeable, even though it's kinda jacked up and I don't know how much longer it will last.

It's a toss up for me, but VV is definately the deciding factor; being able to change attys and dial it in creates a unique vaping experience. Have you tried DIYFlavorshack's expert chocolate flavor? It's pretty good.

I have to say it - I'm addicted to hardware... I stalk the classifieds. All of my stuff has been bought from there.

My favorite mods are my Buzz and my Saber touch. And yes, I have to lick my finger occasionally. Sir has a new one that doesn't require the moisture in the skin, I was thinking about asking for it for Christmas from Santa.

I play around with the VV on my Buzz on the weekends. I'm so tired after work these days I just keep it slightly above 5v during the week.

I have a mini Saber I bought to take on vacation which now goes with me to work every day for the drive to and fro. I mainly stealth vape there, so I use a laser and a Ego.

I bought a GLV1 for my birthday (which my husband held hostage for a month so I wouldn't use it before the actual day!!) and have been a little disappointed in it. It works fine, but I miss the juice well on the Buzz - apparently I overdrip and it keeps getting on my fingers. I'm still trying it out before finding a new home for it.

I was SO excited about the Little Sister, and have been sorely disappointed so far. It leaks, and it died within two months. I need to pack it up for Ken to fix, but haven't had time to clean it up yet.

I liked the box mods I've used, and have around here somewhere. They were a good cheap way to get into the higher voltage area.

My favorite vape: I absolutely love caramel and toffee. Together, separate, any way I have found it.
I'm finally getting decent at DIY - although still need work in this area, and the premade stuff I'm willing to shell out for is the organic toffee at Vaperite. COV's is pretty close in flavor to it with his new organic toffee. Gourmet Vapor - mixed Toffee, Caramel and a little Vanilla. Vapor Bomb's toffee I thought was terrible until I took it out of my drawer after sitting for a month - um, I was wrong! Great stuff! I just placed my first order with FSUSA, going to have to find out what previous poster was referring to as to their business practices.... As a previous small business owner these things are very important to me.

Oh, and after messing with carts and foam, and melting a bunch at 5-6volts - I'm a dripper. :)

I started out with a cheap disposable, moved on to the eGo, got tired of all the filling and refilling and now I use the Ali'i bottom feeder. Best money I've spent so far. I switch between LR and regular attys and my all day vape has been FSUSA RY5 for about a month now. I sample other stuff, but alway come back to the RY5. I believe I might spring for the VV Ali'i here in the near future, but for now, I'm happy.

What's my favorite mod? Lincoln Hayes, played by Clarence Williams III on "The Mod Squad."

Seriously, I have not been a vaper long enough to really know what all this mod stuff is about. I think I own a mod, a CigPig with '808 threading from LeCig. The battery seems to last forever between chargings. I mostly vape 808 cartos and I don't yet have a favorite vape.

Hey guys, can you point me to some threads where I can learn about:

* Bottom-feeder mods
* The different attys that are available
and
* the so-called "mega" cartomizers? I'd love to expand my arsenal.

Currently in use:

*KR808D-1 batteries with cartomizers
* Joye Ego, usually used for dripping only
* E9, which I pull out occasionally, mostly because I still have a boatload of filled cartomizers for it.

TIA for any advice about the above...

Favorite mod: it was my beloved super6....I had to sell it and miss it daily (hopefully soon it'll be replaced with a 18650 precise (if any student loans are left over)
until then a 3.7V box mod with cisco LR 306 atties and high drain 14500 batteries are making due (and a long string of experimental feeder style 18650 bod mods)

type of atty?... the cisco 306 LR atty is the bees knees (but has to be dripped or on a feeder)

everyday juice?... nhaler drewbacco1 when I can scrape up the $ to restock (vaporbomb green apple and black cherry otherwise)

The "Perfect" mini-pump and the Trekk mod! (Links in my sig). The "puck" is a great mod also!

The Perfect and puck are 3.7v and I use LR attys. The Trekk is 5v regulated and vapes great with a regular atty.

capecodjim-albums-mods3-picture24867-trekk-mini.jpg

I can charge the mini from the Tekk via a USB connection.

Inside the "Perfect" mini-pump! USB jack is out the side under the bottle.

The mini with a meter!
