what's your least favorite chore?

it's hard to choose just one, but i hate folding laundry! putting clothes in the wash and dryer isn't a big deal, but taking the time to fold, sort out socks and then putting them away...no fun!

oh, and scooping kitty litter tops my list too but surprisingly, i'd rather do that than fold.

Vip and Zen: I am right there with you on the folding laundry thing! I don't mind all the other household chores but folding laundry is so tedious and if I don't get it done right when the dryer stops the clothes come out all wrinkly! So annoying!

When I was younger I didn't have a washer and dryer at home and the local laundromat had a super deal on washing/drying and folding laundry so I got spoiled. It was just about the same price as doing it myself! For the extra $.50 per load it cost to have someone else do it, it was so worth it! Now that I have a washer and dryer I really don't have an excuse...unless just loathing it counts?

HAHA! I am not the only one, huh?! I had a local that had a similar deal. It cost me a few bucks and they would wash and fold everything all neat and pretty! I loved it! Now with kids - I would go bankrupt if I did that! I currently have about 5 loads of now wrinkled laundry to be folded and some ironed...I think I will continue to ignore its existence...

I think that may be one of my subconscious reasons not to have children just yet! Lol! I still need to make enough money to hire someone to do all the laundry!!

I just put folded and put one load away...just towels, you know, the easy stuff...it's disheartening because I don't think I even made a dent!

Another vote for folding laundry. My hubby considers doing laundry washing, drying, and throwing on the bed. So I'm stuck even if he "does" the laundry.

Laundry. Ugh. The folding is the worst. That and grocery shopping. No matter what I buy I always hear "I don't like that" and "There's nothing to eat." Nobody will help make a list or go with me either.

A man's version of doing laundry is- throwing all colors together, washing, drying and leaving in the dryer until someone else takes them out. If I'm lucky he throws them on the bed for ME to fold!

I have to think about how spoiled we are when we have a dishwasher and laundry machines and still b*tch about it... There are still plenty of civilizations washing their clothes down by the riverside the old fashioned way...lol

I cannot stand to clean the toilet, I live with my son and DH. Neither one can aim worth a hoot! Rubber gloves and a toilet brush for the tiolet and the floor. Folding clothes compared to that no biggie.

I cured my husband of missing the john! I made him clean it for a while and know he hits everytime. Like I stated on another post...............26 years, I ain't trading because he's almost house broke.
