I saw post over in another section that shows just the base being sold for the PT2. It's basically just the aero base. Might be a cheaper solution for you. I am not sure exactly where I saw it at though. Maybe the clearomizers board. Hopefully someone else knows where it is.

EDIT: Found it here.

Just a quick question that doesn't relate to the original one lol. With my protank 2 mini what coil do you reckons best to use with my vision spinner I'm on 1.8 right now? Everyone uses different maybe its just personal taste?

Personal tatse is exactly it. I am using 2.4 - 2.6ohms right now at around 4.5 - 6 watts. Everyone kind of uses what just tastes the best to them with their hardware.

Kanger relies on folks that think if they just buy a different clearo, it will fix what's wrong with clearos.

That's exactly it tj. Unfortunately for us noobs, we don't realize the differences between them, and so just buy stuff. I was fortunate enough to find this place before I started buying gear. For that my wallet says thank you all.

I left my favorite B&M tonight with an Aero Tank in hand. First impression is pretty damned good, once the head is broken in I expect the flavor to only get better. Right off the airflow is so much better than my ProTank2, which by the way I've managed to get better airflow by loosening it off my mod a bit and changing out the drip tip. So while vaping Deadly Sin in the PT2 I decided to try the Aero base on it...holy crap! The flavor jumped out like crazy! Ordering a base right now. My PT2 doesnt suck as bad as I thought, it just needed air.

I want to try it but let's face it by the time you buy this and the replacement coils over the next 12months you would be better off just buying a kafun lite+. I want to believe it would be good. Of course if you rebuilt the these I guess it would be cheaper. Maybe I will pick one up and give it a try.

I received the Aero base and put in on my 2 Protank 2's; the hit / air flow is about the same, but it allows me adjust air flow, and most important, it solves the "block air flow" problem, where if you tightened the Protank 2 down on a mod/mech, it can sometimes cover up the air holes.......you can't accidentally cover up the air holes on the new Kanger Aero base.....

However, you have to decide if the Protanks are good enough for you to want to spend another $6 each to upgrade the base.
