I just bought my first mech mod (king mod clone) with a mutation x v1 rba I get good fire of of it and its well built just difficult to build on the screws try to cross thread all of the time and don't tighten Dow very firmly, and the air flow isn't quite what I'd like but all in all I enjoy the set up, what would y'all suggest as far as a good rba?

Although the picture is of an rda, if you're wanting another one, I love my mutation x v3. I buy new ones and always go back to it. Just a well built rda with good flavor and air.

Yeah I guess you're right lol . Since I used to rebuild Atlantis coils does that make it a RBA? Not being sarcastic I'm just curious by that definition

I would say that since the Atlantis was not designed to be rebuildable, that it's not an RBA. The way I see it, all atomizers that were designed to be rebuilt are RBAs. Under the RBA category are type-specific atomizers like RDAs and RTAs.

Taking a chance that RBA and RDA are similar I think I will chime in on this one. I bought two because I had never dripped anything before and I wanted to explore the idea. The first I bought was a plume veil clone. The man in the shop sold me the only gold coloured one they had, the gold one was their demo model it has four tiny pins and i guess it is sort of okay but I had to be careful to put the little darling together right side up and I had to use the tip that came with it or it spit and hissed like crazy however it was the first one I tried of the two I bought so I was astounded by the ability to taste the juice but choked to death the first few times - well not quite to death- because, I later learned through this forum, the nic strength was 18 mg / ml and probably too high for a dripper, but the gold colour is kind of fanciful.

My second one and truly my favourite was sold to me by a young little lad at a different shop who along with his equally young colleague seemed sort of shocked to have grandma drop in and ask about a dripper and wanted me to have a very satisfactory experience SO he very sweetly and quite discreetly suggested the el diablo baal. It is lovely, has nice fat slot head screws , giant holes, three posts, a deep dish for juice and a decoration of a dude wearing horns on his head so I always know how to put it together right side up and a big black drip cap ( I would prefer to use the cute little drip cap I bought one time but el diablo spits if I try a smaller mouth piece. There is a total of seven air holes on each side that I can adjust for draw, my coils are not the prettiest in the world but they do the job the juice tastes lovely as long as I keep the nic low

The title of this thread keeps catching my eye. For an RBA, a KFL+ is very hard to beat. For an RDA... it really depends on what you're after, vapor or flavor. I can't speak to the vapor side of it, but for flavor, even though it's a leaky little beast, the Magma is fantastic. If you don't go nuts filling the well, the leaking is under control, but fill it much over half full, and things are going to start feeling greasy and ejuicy. A Veritas is pretty good for flavor too, and is well suited if you prefer dual coils, though it can use a single coil very well; it's good for vertical coils either dual or single. I'm still very undecided on the Derringer. Flavor may be ok, but it may be too airy for me to really enjoy.
