Maybe a stupid question but, curious when you all refill your tanks?
Yesterday was a bad day for me, stopping cigs and I went thru a tank of my fav juice pretty fast and it started to get a flat burnt taste to it. I guess my question is, do you guys clean your tanks, then refill? or do you just add fresh juice into the older juice in your tanks?

Sounds good, Ive been doing just the same. I thought maybe cause I was getting a flat flavor and low on juice that the remaining juice in the tank was getting old.
I have a few iClear30 tanks with diff juices, makes things a lot simpler :) I did clean one tank just to see if I could and being the OCD I am, I had to see the inner workings etc.
I put in a new flavor and all worked well. Again thanks to this site and all the info here helped.

Time to go research when to replace the coil. Someone told me depends on usage, one said after 1-2 weeks.. So im kinda lost as to when this is a doable deed.
the iClear30's [dual coil] (if I remember correctly) are 1.5ohm and mine are reading 1.6

thanks again for the feedback..!

I smoke the same homemade juice all day, everyday. I have been using the same protank2 for a month. Other than rinsing the mouth piece and cleaning out the shaft with a q-tip, I have never cleaned it. I do sometimes dump out the juice if it gets too dark and then add fresh juice. I just change the atomizer, add juice and carry on. I run a q-tip around the battery threads, to collect any juice that may have leaked before I charge it. Good luck,

Why does juice get dark?

With my ProTank2 Minis, ProTank2 and Aero tanks I clean the drip tips (mouth pieces) when I refill. I clean the tanks about every two weeks or so when I notice that flavor starts dropping off or vapor production declines which usually means I need to replace the coils and wicks.
I can get away with dry firing the coils a couple of times (I don't vape really "heavy" juices that gunk up coils). After that I just replace the coils.

I rebuild them so I use single coils in my Aero Tank. IMHO they seem to work better than the duals.

My Russian I clean thoroughly when I replace the wicks.

Not familiar with the I-Clears so can't help there...

Realize that when you use this type of tank, you give up performance. I smoked unfiltered cigs for 30 years, I need more than "regular" atomizers/cartomizers can provide. They vape weak compared to what I run (kayfun mini 2.1 clone).

How disgusting your wick/coil gets is mainly dependent on your juice/power/viscosity (if you hit it a lot, thick juice flows slow = burning on coil/wick). Lots of room to explore here.
