I am relatively new to vaping. Started vaping to quit analogs in January on a jet cig a like. I quickly moved up to an ego kit. Briefly after following I got a twist and a few tanks. Now I ordered a vamo. I have indulged in many different juices most tasty but a few bombs. Yet I still have spent less than cigarettes! Hopefully my journey to a perfect vape will be satisfied soon.

Sounds like fun to me. Although I'm glad I don't have to start again because I was ...... off and frustrated half the time. It won't really stop since there will be new things coming out. But if you can stay below the cost of cigarette habit you had you are doing outstanding! Save up for the next new things say around 6 months or so. I'm just got carried away with stock piling and haing all the variety...but you know..recently addaed one bottom feeder. So now, One fancy custom box mechanical. One tube mechanical, one vv vw ( cheap Vamo), 2 vv cheap ego v, and cig alikes- lots of erolls. Well I won't head over to delivery devices but none cost me more than $20 ea including rba. Glass tanks drip tips. I think that's where I blew most of it come to think of it.

I have slowed down now that I have found what works for me and I am dropping below the $200 a month mark. That's what I used to spend on cigs

Perhaps don't go whole hog over every new thing you like. You know, 10 Nanos, 8 clearos, 12 T3's.))

As long as you don't smoke anymore, and you budget yourself to never spend more than you did smoking, then it's worth every dime IMO. I haven't broken "even" but I haven't spent more than I've saved either... By a long shot...

I've saved almost $1000 since I've stopped smoking... But I've only spent maybe $600... I have a few eGo batteries, AGA-T, Phoenix, Terminator-C, a couple of Vivi Novas, a handful of T3's, a bunch of cartos and a couple of tanks, some stardusts, Lavatube V2, Vamo, ProVari, a bunch of DIY supplies (enough to make like 2.5 liters of juice), a Chi Chi, a boat load of wiring and wicking materials... I mean it's a LOT of stuff...

And as long as I stay under my smoking budget, I feel like I win... I have $400 in my pocket, and it tells me that a greek mechanical is required in my entourage! Poldiac, here I come! LoL!

It has finally ended for me. I got a Provari 19 months ago & it is great. I still kept buying more mods though. Now I am probably going to start selling them off. I have 3 Provari's & that's all I need. Nothing else I have tried compares. All the other mods just sit & gather dust so I think I am finally done!!!! LOL

Regardless I'm grateful.... period. So many more possibilities. I love the fact i don't cough a lung up every morning. i love the tasty flavors Gentleman thanks for being awesome. I will continue to vape. Just feels like my excitement consumes a lot of time currently. I love the companionship and excitement that we have.

eh. get what works for you today and save your money for something else later down the road. there are always new things coming out and some of them will work better than what you have now. I don't see a need to have every new mod that comes my way, so after initial start up costs I'm saving tons of money!

For me it is as much hobby now as it is a necessity. I have run the gambit from cig-a-likes all the way up to genesis style hybrids. I have pipes, tubes, and boxes. VV and mechanical. Currently in the vape mail pipeline I have a Can from Nhaler, a Spheriod, a Killer 705 rebuildable tank atomizer, and am waiting for a Billet Box.

Some folks are perfectly happy with an eGo, others always want to try the newest thing out there...there is no right or wrong. Just different strokes for different folks...

It will never end. j/k...sorta. Actually I thought I was gonna keep buying stuff forever but now that I've found a setup that's easy to maintain, hits well and lasts all day I've stopped completely and only buy juice now. Can't stop coming on here though for some reason...

For got to mention that co ops are a good way to try some things, not everything of course. It's a good thing co ops. I wonder how whoever doesn't benefit might want to mess that up for consumers on ecf. Have they been around since the beginning of ecf?

I agree with mentions of it being a hobby. I now consider myself a "vaping enthusiast" and love to keep expanding my horizons. I think this is where analogs fell short. Sure I tried a bunch of brands and cigars and pipes and snuff and all that stuff, but its a dead end. To be called a "smoker" these days is akin to being called a mutant or leprous it seems. To be a vaper captures the same feeling I get from being a connoisseur and tinkerer all at the same time. Fitting alongside my other hobbies of making electronic gadgets and brewing beer.

Smoking is a dead end, Vaping is a world of fun that's still evolving. Enjoy!

Does it stop? Only if you have the ability to make it lol. The problem most of face is its just too dam fun to try new things! When i first started out i went through a few different egos, then i went to a 6.5 volt (not sure who it was bye), then a lava tube, then came my vmax, then came my Zmax, a few days ago i purchased a vamo, in a few days i'll purchase a twist so i can be more discreet in public haha. Don't even get me started on juices lol, otherwise this post may never end! I have decided to take a break for a little while after the twist though.

My next mod I'm hoping for a provari, but that will be awhile. I think I'm set for now. I have backups for my backups for my backups =)

I think it slows down, hoping it stops soon Last things I want to try are rebuildables, found a couple for reasonable prices, and another mod, thinking a bolt or something similar just to have as a backup to my vamo (which is what I though my twists were, guess not haha). I am waiting on flavors to come in to start diying my juices and ordering a couple larger bottles of my favorites so I'm good for juice. I'm kind of lucky, I really enjoy all of the provari and similar high end mods but don't have any desire to own one myself, at least not for a long time. I have spent waaay more than I thought I would but I am almost to the point now that I could go for months without ordering anything, which is my goal.

I don't think there is a perfect vape. If there is, something else will come along. Isn't it the same with job promotions, cars, clothes, shoes, etc.

I had to finally approach vaping like I do life......try to be content with what I have, if it works good and gets the job done.

I think most vapers find a sweet spot though, and you will, too.

I started to get kinda weary of "the chase". So did my pocketbook.
