I saw that the CE3 said it was coming out in May, does anyone have any ideas when people in the US will be able to have them in their mailbox?

Any guesses who will have them first, or the fastest way to get them other than a wholesale order?

Anyone have high hopes for them? I know I do. If its like the Vortex or a CE2 with bottom coil that doesn't leak, only works, then it should be almost perfect. I'm willing to throw some money at like 10 of them to test them out. I wouldn't be surprised though if theres a revision like a week later after they sell their first 100,000 defected ones lol.

I hope they aren't like the vortex's. I have nothing but leaking from them. Complete junk in my book.

I like the last of the R4's as I preferred the bowtie wicks over the fat wicks. However, I gave up on all of it for the time being. Too much junk is being shipped out only for us to be used as lab rats to test it. I'm tired of throwing good money in the toilet.

I agree hairball, its a shame that they can't (or WON'T, rather) produce one perfect cartomizer. Once they make it everyone will switch to them and use them exclusively, not to mention the steady re-purchase from almost every vaper. But I guess they figure if they can get as many sales on test models before they achieve that than all the more $$$ for them.

However I do believe the perfect cartomizer is on the horizon, it can only be a matter of time, it doesn't seem that hard to do. You say you liked the R4, except for the added hassle. What if its an improved version of the R4? For me, all it has to do is not leak, and to wick properly. With all this hype of this all new version of the CEs and what not, while I wan't to kick myself for believing it, I think they may actually have done good this time. I've blown too much money on CE variations and its a shame, the ones that worked are AMAZING. Its just too difficult to vape polyfill after tasting nothing but juice, and the other ways of excluding the polyfill are either way too inconvenient, or too much money.

All we can do is wait and see. I will throw $25 for a bunch of them and pray they work like champs, non polyfill cartos are just too amazing of a concept for me, but if they don't, at that point I may decide its time to get a juice feeding device!

UNLESS of course, they promptly respond to the malfunction by saying they will be correcting the issue and releasing a revision soon..LOLL. We all know how that goes. But an optimist would say that nonsense can't go on forever, are they waiting till they have 100 customers left and THEN produce the perfect one and pray that the reviews of it will get EVERYONE back into them? It almost seems plausible.

I would bet my left ehhem, that Gotvapes has them first ! I'm really looking forward to testing out the new Giantomizer even more so, but then again a quad coil carto with some special type , maybe ss wicks or some new wicking material could be in some of the newer cartos coming to market as well instead of rope, who knows, Only time will tell but one thing I can say is it's only going to get better from where were at I think.

I've got a couple boxes of CE2 r5s, and have to say I'll buy whatever's next in a hurry.

I hear all the complaints, but I wonder if I've just been lucky. Except for a couple of things, I couldn't be happier with my CE2s:

You have to clean them before you use them. Why couldn't they ship them clean??

When the coil gets dirty (burnt on) they taste like .... (I was told they're disposable. But I've been taking apart and cleaning every 3-4 days, and am using the same two CE2s for more than two weeks now.)

Nothing I've ever found wicks quite as fast as I want. YOu can get quite a few good hits out of these, but then you have to let'em rest. If you just keep chain hitting, eventually you get to the burnt taste.

All in all, though, I love my clearomizers!

I have finally found a happy place with my Ce2s. Now granted it can be a lot of work to get them working properly and to also maintain them. After a while though you just get good at it. Its a great start to something, but still needs to be perfected.

I wonder if anyone over at royalsmokes even vapes??????? Anyone who has used a pack of ce2s knows that they have problems that need to be addressed. I wanna know who the quality control guy is that gave these things the green light! It seems every product revision and new product they come out with has a whole new set of problems!

If I had to put up with so many revisions with a product to get it to work right I would probably be fed up as well. But the first CE2 I tried was the Steel Rev. 4's and I used it with a MAP Tank so my first experience with them have been pretty good. I was quite shocked the first time I tried it because of how well the flavor came through. When you get it working right it is a very nice, clean vape. As long as I dry burn these clean every night they work well for me.

I also tried a R4 Clearo and that tasted so awful I had to throw it out. I think it probably needed to be cleaned Before I filled it. I don't even want to test another one lol.

I'm not interested in the ce3. It IS the vortex, and I'm just not impressed. HOWEVER I am very very happy with my Ce2's. I've still got one of the original Clearo XL's that I bought way back in feb, and the last of the clearo shorts just took a dump on me.

Most of the reasons for dead ce2's are my own fault. Chipped the cups trying to pull out the fill cap. Broke the wires accidentally, over dry-burned. Only three of the now 10 ce2's that I've gone through since Feb died of natural causes.

I have had to mod the 2.4ohm ones because there was exposed heatshrink (just snipped it) and I don't like that clearo's don't easily fit in and out of the eGo cone, but the flavor, longevity, and clean-ability are really phenomenal. I'll gladly use ce2's in any variety (including MAP, storm and Giantomizer).

At first I hated them. They leaked, they're not VG friendly, The clear ones DO crack under citrus and cinnamon conditions, and the metal ones do not come apart for cleaning like the clearo's do. But they absolutely get better with age and as long as you properly clean and maintain them they will last months, not weeks.

what do you mean it is the vortex? I thought a different company made the the vortex. do you mean its the same concept?

No. All CE cartos are made by Royal Smoker (microcig), They make the ce2 R1-5, Fluxomizer, Giantomizer, Vortex, etc etc, or whatever name people use. They are all a monopoly on the non-poly carto. The Ce2 and Fluxomizer are the same thing, The Ce3 and vortex are the same thing, and the Giantomizer and Maximizer.

I don't mean that the ce3 and vortex are similar. I mean they are the exact same design. Sorry to break it to ya. I recommend sticking with the ce2

Are you sure? Royal smokers has a bottom feeding carto?.Im pretty sure Vorex's are made by Kanger not Royal smokers. If Royal smokers is making a ce3 I dont think it is the Vortex unless others have dubbed the vortex 'ce3'.That was my understanding anyway.

Ya.I just checked it out on the Royal smokers site.the picture shows a mini with a carto indistinguishable due to a bunch of Giantomizers behind it. I guess they have a mini and giant Ce3 version.it isn't a vortex cuz it sais it has a CE2 "fat wick" and is suitable for all models. It is bottom coil sounding tough. but they say:

Fatter CE2 Wick - Pre-burned
Vapor from the Bottom
100 % No Burn taste
100 % Leaking free
100 % Suitable for types and models
100 % Soldering FREE !
100 % PURE and CLEAN
Multi OHMS available
Multi use and long lasting

More colors available
Easy re-fill unplug CE-tip and fill direct from bottle
CE-3 coming soon -> More info

Are two Vortex models floating around out there? The one at GotVapes doesn't appear to be a CE3 based on the above descriptions and references. But some other people refer to a Vortex w/ the wick at the top?? Or did I smoke some diacetyl and lost my resistor?

I'd be interested in a firm confirmation on the CE3/Vortex relationship. I am going to be trying both the CE2 and the Vortex and if there is a CE3 coming I might be persuaded to wait before buying many CE2. Hrmm. -Magnus
