I love the CE2s. Some days I go through 8-10mls of VG juice, and I've never had any kind of wicking problem. Every one of them that's died has been at least helped along by me or is a victim of the inherent limitations of plastic.

You want a transparent tube able to withstand the variety of chemcials used in e-juice, the heat fluctuations, and the structural needs to make an indestructible carto? No problem -- it's only $173 a gram (I don't have the mix number handy).

I built a little adapter to clean my CE2s. It plugs into a USB port and has a 317T to step the output down to 2 volts. I pump iso alc through the carto using a syringe, screw it onto my adapter, let it sit until the gunk is ash(y), wash with iso alc, let dry (sometimes I have to heat and wash again, depends on crud-level of juice I've been vaping). It bring the carto right back to new.

I'm on my first 5-pack of Vortex. I'm not a big fan. The mouthpiece keeps coming out, spilling liquid onto my lips. When the first one needed more cleaning than simply an alcohol rinse, I tried burning (see above paragraph), but the carto was completely dead after that. They look cool and they're easier to fill, but unless that first one was a fluke, I'll be going back to CE2s -- getting only a week out of a carto simply isn't going to cut it.

love my CE2 R5. Don't think I'll move to something different anytime soon. let see got the clears and then ordered the XL both the first day up on the site. Still using my first of each. Not once have a ran water or alcohol through them. I just give them a good burning once in a wile. And gently remove the leftovers from the coil with a q tip. No cracked plastic, no burnt taste. nice warm hit. Wicks fine every time. As long as you don't "hotbox" them. Their the best thing since the peacepipe.

I guess I too got lucky being a ginny pig for these?

Ok, so they're made by different companies. My apologies. I saw a pic of the ce3 and it looked just like the vortex, so that's where I got lost.

I too will stick to the ce2 r4 and 5 non-clear. I just got another 10 of the XL's and they work great out of the box. The r4's need a little work (cleaning and dry burn) before they work well. And the 2.4ohm ones need a piece of heatshrink sliced off.

They get better with age for sure. When you first buy them they taste a little dry, but as the wick gets more absorbent the flavors really start to come out.

I don't trust the vortex/ce3 but I will try the ce3 when it's released, especially if it really is different than the vortex

I generally go through 6-8 cartos a day (I refill 8-10 CE2s and 28-32 cartos all at once just about every week). Boges are good for two, maybe three fillings, so using them would cost me $5-7 each day, versus the $2.83 per week I've been averaging on new cartos. Also, Boges don't give me any of the features that made me chose CE2s (no burnt flavor, visual indication if I need to switch before going out of the house, etc. etc. etc.).

I can deff see where ur comming from but i generally vape about 2ml a day evidently nowhere what u vape lol. My boges have been lasting me 10+ fills if i keep them wet. The ce2s i got tasted nothing but burnt as no wicking but if i got some that wicked propper id deff use them. Just every batch i got tasted horrible even after cleaning them before i used them. I have however made my own tanks outa them which theyve been useful for

Each time I refill, I open a new 30ml bottle, do the CE2s first and then as many regular cartos as I can before it runs out. It usually takes about a week to use them all up, so I'm averaging 4-6ml a day. Most day must be less because there's usually at least one day a week that I'm sort of intense on a project, and those are easily 10-14ml days.

Cracked my first CE2.

Not really its fault- this one's been taken apart for cleaning 3 times, dropped a few times. Oops. And today, when I'd just refilled it, I noticed a hairline crack near the mouth.

Still works, and I'll vape out what's in it, but not gonna refill it again.

I feel like the taking apart to clean it puts wear and tear on the tubes- next one I open, I'm gonna try using without ever taking it apart. I'll just dry burn out of the package, keep it clean, and never change juice flavors.

Let you all know how long it lasts in a few weeks...

Best,
Ande

The original tube lasting 3 times being taken off is awesome. Mine usually crack on the first fill if they aren't cracked out of the box. I don't know how available they are in Korea but the 3ml BD Syringe tube works great on them. I don't even fool with the original tube anymore.

Don't know how to ask for it in Korean, but I can get a number of diff syringes from the local pharmacy. Might be worth trying.

I can't believe how much people are saying they crack the tubes. I bought ten a couple of weeks ago, none were cracked out of the box.

I've used three, and one (the oldest one) now has a tiny crack at the mouthpiece- I've taken all of them apart every couple of days. I'm wondering if import standards are different here?

I bought these in a shop, and if any were cracked out of the box, I would damn well take them back. Korea's very into that sort of customer service, so I've no doubt they would change them for me. They were awful expensive, though- 20,000 won (probably $18) for a box of five.

Best,
Ande

I buy 24mg/ml and cut it to either 18mg/ml or 12mg/ml depending on flavor. But you have to take into consideration that I don't really inhale like most people do. I've always been more towards the cigar method (taking a mouthful) rather than the toker (getting it down into the deepest recess of the lungs). I'll often do a deep pull first, but then just sort of puff until I have to put it down.

Dang, now I am concerned... LOL... I am a deep toker, and I go thru 5 to 6 ml a day of 15 to 20 mg nicotine. But, then again, I love the flavors...

I tried the CE2's and got all kinds of nasty taste, tried the Vortex and between leaking and dry hits didnt care for those either. I am not a modder, dont like to fiddle other than re-filling a carto... but will probably try the CE3 when it hits just to say I tried it.

<WARNING: trollish smart-.... response>

Question:
When is the CE3 coming out?
Answer:
Right before the CE4 rumors start.....

Seriously, don't you carto fans get tired of chasing the illusive "it works properly" carto? Atties all the way!

What's wrong with the CE2-rev <whatever it is now>? Why do they even need a CE3? I should have started a carto business... just come up with a minor rev every 3 months, create marketing hype, sell a bunch, repeat.

Seriously.... What the heck carto do I order that doesn't taste like crap (even when wet). The clear-o-mizer thingamajigs almost got me... but I refrained. MAP tank looks interesting, but it's a modded clear-o, so.... IDK. I'll still stick to atties, and drip, until someone (actually a whole group of someones) report back and tell us that they have a the perfect tank atty/carto. If the CE4 is it, please report back.

Sorry, but after reading through the responses, I'll just keep dripping until a decent solution is found.
