This thread has helped me as well, I was on the notion that you need to train Lithium batteries for best results. Next time the cell companies tell me this i'm going to tell them that is dumb, no.

This was True with Older Ni-Cad type batteries.

But Ni-Cads have be mostly phased out for Better Technology like Ni-MH or Li-Ion which don't develope "Memories".

If you run your e-Cig All the Way Down it isn't going to Kill it. But if you run it All the Way Down All the Time, you will Shorten it's Lifespan.

im not sure what battrys the EGOs use, is it one that you should keep topped up?

All the eGo's / Riva's / Kgo's and Clones us Li-Ion Batteries. Just like all the "Pen" Style or "Mini's".

Charge them often for Maximum Lifespan.

And to not run out of Power when your away from Home.

Almost all electronic cigarette batteries are Lithium based, and like frequent recharges.

The only batteries I know of that aren't Lithium based are the NiMH batteries that I use.
But you are not using those, because you have to order them specifically so you would know if you were.

And even those prefer more frequent charges than they do full discharges.

I was told by a rep at V2 that their batteries were a lithium battery. Then I asked about the best way to charge, whether to let run down completely and was told PROBABLY the best was to let it run down completely !
From what I have read here the best way is to charge it(because it is a lithium battery)is to charge it BEFORE IT GOES DOWN COMPLETELY,RIGHT ?
also curious as to whetehr the Volt x2 is a lithium battery or not ??
Thanks
Craig
