When will Australia ban E-cigs?

Hi ANZ ECF members,

I hear you cannot sell E-Cigs in Victoria, and there is a lot of controversy around the risk of vaping.
In your opinion, will Australia nationally ban E-cigs? What is the likelyhood...

Being new to vaping and loving it i'd be devastated if that happened.

I believe you can sell ecigs in Victoria, just not nicotine liquid.

Who knows if or when the ban will come in, unfortunately it wouldnt surprise me and if it does ill be happy to break the law if it benefits my health.

Ah ok thanks for the info. It's crazy you can buy nicotine freely at the chemist or supermarket but they are talking about banning e-cigs...

I agree, it's ridiculous, but there are billions of dollars involved in the tobacco industry and pharmaceutical industry - both of which see vaping as a huge threat to their profits.

If you are worried about it, it would be a good idea to stock up on some nicotine and chuck it in the freezer.
