Since I quit smoking I've found this addiction to hot things. Unfortunately it kills my tastebuds....

Has anyone else found that they have a new addiction to really really hot stuff and it's ruining vaping?

Killing those new taste buds all ready? I had the same experience. I think I gained 10 pounds just because I enjoyed food so much more when my taste buds began to heal.

No - in fact it's the opposite. I used to love very spicy food. One of my favorite meals from a local Indian restaurant is lamb curry with rice. Before, I used to order it hot (there's mild, medium, and hot). Now that my taste buds are recovered, I only like mild.

I think I'm going to be joining thomas in gaining 10lbs unfortunately. Hot peppers, hot salsa, hot wings....the list goes on and on...I also went out and purchased some hot sauce so I can mix it with my ranch salad dressing because a salad with jalapenos and hot peppers didn't seem to cut it....

Even worse...every time I do this it reminds me of bart simpson going OW QUIT IT....and then doing it again.

On top of that...I've been so HUNGRY lately and it's to the point where I had to go buy sunflower seeds so I'll stop eating so damn much....ugh.

That's interesting...I've always loved hot things, so that didn't change. But, I agree...trying to taste a vapor after a serving of anything spicy or pungent is impossible.

I think they are also on the list of foods with nicotine in them....wonder if that has something to do with it?

On a similar note last night I purchased some medium peach/pineapple salsa....OMG....this stuff is addictively awesome....

Now that you mention it, I have been eating a lot more spicy stuff since I quit smoking. Used to hate jalapeños. Now I can sit there and eat them like candy. lol. I've had jalapenos on everything lately. lol. Hmmmm.... Weird.
