When Will The Cart Be Empty?

I'm a little worried that I'm doing this wrong. I've searched on here to see how many carts people use per day, and what it will taste/vape like when the cart is empty.

BUT-

I've been using one cart for 2 days. It still tastes like cinnamon, and the vapor is still as strong as ever. I don't want to burn anything, nor do I want the nasty burny stuff in my lungs. blech.

I still can't inhale, so I take 2 or 3 small puffs to warm it up and hold it in my mouth. Maybe 3 seconds max?

I know many people drag on it for 7 seconds or more, but I puff 2 or 3 times each time for 3 seconds, so it's kinda the same.

Will I taste the burning thing everyone talks about? Or should I take it off and look at something?

I'm still getting used to the taste, and the only flavor that DOESN'T taste burned to me is the cinnamon roll. All the coffees and tobaccos I got taste like Starbucks coffee...roaster burned. Which some people love. ;)

I'm just worried that I can't tell the difference and I'm going to melt something. Is 2 days on the same carto abnormal?

IMO, if you arent inhaling it.... then yes, it will be hard to distinguish the "burning" taste.

from personal experience, I can only taste the "off" or "burning" flavor on the EXHALE. I have never perceived this on the mouth-fill (i do not direct inhale).

I havent personally experienced this for some time either, because i have grown accustomed to the VK.... so mine get topped off regularly.

So, if you aren't inhaling..... it may be hard to distinguish IMO.
just top off the carto to be safe.

When in doubt, top it off. It takes some getting used-to, particularly when your taste buds are still numb from analogs. Generally if you detect a drop-off in flavor accompanied by really good vapor, that is the perfect place to stop and refill. Make sure to stop at the first hint of any burnt taste. If you get the burnt taste with a premium carto, it is probably not going to be much good for refilling.

I vape strongly, (think shopvac ;)), I think you are just a light vaper. I've had a few carts that seemed to last a very long time. You probably just got a good one!

What others have said is true, if you aren't inhaling, maybe you aren't tasting it fully.

I also have tried several premium carts that taste burnt to me right off the bat, don't know why. Some carts just seem to last and last, others seem done in a much shorter time.

My hubby loves the red hots flavor, but I haven't tried it yet.

Thanks, all. I think I know what you mean by "burnt marshmallow" taste, but since I love burnt marshmallows I don't think I realized I should stop. I thought it was part of the experience :D

I read about some people going through 2-3 carts a day, and I thought I might be in danger of melting something.

I'm sticking with the pre-filled for now, so I'll just have to find the end of a cart.

Is it bad to breathe in a cashed out cart? I mean, it still produces vapor...will it stop producing vapor when it's out of juice?

I pretty much only use my 3.7v battery, and although I think I vape pretty consistantly, a cart will last me 2 full days easy. It all depends...

But the change from mostly empty to completely empty will be a drastic taste change. It's not too big a deal if you get a cart down to completely empty, in that you can still wash/refill it later as long as you stop vaping the cart as soon as you get to that one drag that changes drastically.

People here just prefer to stop vaping once the cart loses some flavor... that means the cart may have about 20 more drags left but since it doesn't taste as good, most just find it better to call it done then.

Took me awhile to figure it out, too. Since I'd don't refill, here's the progression I notice:

1 full tasty flav
2 rather sudden decrease in good flav
3 almost total lack of good flav (what's left is blah)
4 mild touch of burnt taste (not hard to notice)
5 horrific taste of burnt plastic and filling (no way to miss it)

I usually switch to a new carto during step 3, but occasionally step 4 if I'm busy with something. You'll get the hang of it with some practice.

I've been having the same issue. I figured that this kamel menthol I've been using would have died by now. Most of yesterday up all night and now today and still no change, so I took it apart and it's still almost as moist inside as a fresh one I compared it too. I have to say I'm impressed. My buddy has a blu and has nowhere near that type of luck. Now I'm determined to run this cart till I kill it just for experience sake. LOL

You are by no means alone. I got my VPK on thursday, and I use it often. My cartos last me easly a day, most times more.
I have not vaped one down to burnt yet.

Using the remove the top trip method with the Taryn spin, I can only get my cartos to hold like 15 drops. This tells me that most likely I am only usuing 2/3rds of a cart before refill.

I was previously using the RN4081, and refilling my carts every hour to two hours... My new VPK and carts has totally boosted my enjoyment in vaping and the flavors I have tried so far simply ROCK!:D

Ok, let me get this straight; so if the cart is dead then it doesn't stop producing vapor? I just came off a sinus infection and don't have much sense of taste or smell, but the other day I decided to give vaping a try and after a few puffs, no more vapor and a weird taste.

I thought maybe it was the battery so I put the carto on the other battery...same thing.
I switched to a different carto and their was a little bit more vapor but not much more. Is my battery dying not my carto?

I found the end of a cart this last weekend. I was taking 7 second drags on smilin' and the entire breadth of my draw went from minty goodness to severe burnt.

The taste was really easy to notice and it was harsh. Something I could have missed on coffee flavor, but there's no mistaking the change from menthol. Burnt marshmellow, cottonball, singed hair.... something like that.

I tossed that one as my learning experience. With the price of juice vs a new cart, it's better safe than sorry on frequent refills.
