Personally, I'm a traveling mobile vape shop when I leave my county.

Fer moi, 'backup' is not a 911 call!

I usually do a quick search to see what's in the near vicinity of where I'm going. Vape shops are so hit & miss concerning hardware, liquid, and inventory. I find myself stopping in the ones I find on accident.

That's why I like shopping them all. You never know what you are going to find. It's also nice to meet new people.

Definitely. Love meeting new people interested in vaping, seeing how prices and hardware availability compare, and trying new juices. It's also nice, when I find something I like, to dump a few of my hard-earned dollars into the local economy, particularly a B&M vape shop. With the incredible range of juices now available online, many that don't offer trial size, a travelin' man can sample quite a few with the help of his trusty smartphone :2cool:

…do you check and see if there are any vape stores around? I'm headed out of town/state next week and I'm checking the interwebz for nearby B&M's. Forget about seeing all of the major league ballparks, I wanna check out as many vape shops as I can.

When I first started vaping, there were a couple of local shops. Not a lot of selection. For awhile, every time I'd hear about a new shop in this area, I'd go check it out.

But after awhile. they all seem pretty much the same. They carry the same products, they mix juice, etc. And in this area, there are a ton of them. I'm sure that within 50 miles of me, there are over 100 shops. The closest one is less than 1/2 a mile.

The last time I saw a new shop, less than a mile from the house, I started to pull in. It was just after dark, and the place couldn't have been there for long or I'd have seen it before. It looked like there were no customers as I pulled in.

Just as I was getting out of the car, the employee walked out the door and lit a cigarette. I got back in the car and went on down the road. I haven't been back, and I pretty much only go to the two vape shops that I like best. Seeing some new shop selling ego's and ProTanks doesn't do much to interest me anymore.

I do search for shops before I go on a trip and make an effort to go see them if their website looks interesting. Seen enough of the low end starter set up with krappy house juice places to last me a lifetime so if they don't look legit on the web I don't bother.
I actually prefer some of the smaller b&ms to some chainshops, usually find better quality and nicer people not just interested in a sale lol

I wish I had the time to visit some on my drive up, but it's already a 6 hour drive to my destination so no sense in making it longer. I've got a couple that I am going to check out. I don't really expect much, but if they make their own juice I'll at least pick up a bottle. A little souvenir if you will.

I try to hit up new vape shops around here, just to see what brands of e-liquid they carry in case they have something I've been wanting to try.
And I am also looking for shops that carry my time-tested favorites in case of an online sales ban.

I've already got a source for my favorite Halo flavors, and some Five Pawns as well.

But when I am out of town, I don't bother, because there are so many around here that the novelty factor is gone.
And I consider that a good thing.
