When I say seep, people usually avoid eye contact and move to the other side of the street.
Ok ok, sorry.

I've read a few approaches, most common seems to be
A. sealed and sitting somewhere not hot or cold and out of bright light
B. Open for 1 hour to 2 days, then A
C. Forced by submerging in hot water, these comments often bring supporters and detractors alike.

I've not yet noticed a juice change at all in a few days time, open or not. I have noticed BIG and similar changes in juices treated like A and B(+A). Haven't tried C. I have rather limited experience (25 ish juices from only 3 companies, over a relatively short time period) so YMMV. Right now I have 2 big bottles of identical juice, one is steeping in the closet sealed, the other is open, I may compare them in 2 days, then seal the open one for further steeping.

ditto for the tobacco flavors from honeyville, I believe my exact words were unvappable. Then they were tolerable. As my supply dwindles they are downright tasty. NOTE, I have no idea the extent of changing tastebuds has on this, but I think it's not purely that because some of the non-tobacco flavors from that order barely changed at all over the same time period.

I agree with what's been said. Shake, vape. If you don't care for them, let them just sit in the dark, like a drawer or cupboard. In a couple of weeks, shake and vape again. Some taste good right away, and even better later. Some never taste good, no matter what. I have sixty or seventy flavors, and this is what I've found to be the case. Backwoods Brew and Kickbass Vapor taste great right away, and even better later. I won't name the others, ha! You just gotta try them later if you don't like them at first. You may be surprised.

I just saw analog's last reply, after I posted. I ordered a couple of tobacco flavors from BWB, (555 and Casablanca), just to try, as I always smoked menthol cigs. I didn't expect to like them, and didn't, at first. They smelled so strong, I had to separate them from everything else, couldn't stand it. I let them sit, but couldn't get that smell out of my head. I craved it after awhile. And wow. The 555 tastes like the little toasted tops of, not saltines, but oyster crackers! Really yummy. I like the Casa, but jury is still out; nice, though. It's amazing what steeping will do!

BWB needs to steep, in my experience. I got five flavors over a month ago, and they all taste remarkably different than they did when I got them. Supposedly he blends stuff on-demand (or close to it), although the stock numbers on his site don't always reflect that. All I know is that the Maple Tobacco was simply unvapeable when I got it; now it's quite tasty. Same with every other flavor than the 555, which I've liked since new, so give it some time -- mine must not have been fresh-mixed.

Well I have to say. I bought some Juice from RockStar Vapor, Black Cherry, Caramel Cappuccino, and something else that I can't remember right now. I tried them all when I first got them (two weeks ago) and none of them were vapable. Probably the closest one was the Black cherry, but it had a very weak taste and little vaper. I brought a bottle of the Black Cherry to work with me and just filled an empty Carto with it. Tried it again and it had a very nice smooth cherry taste. I'm actually impressed.

Next try will be the Caramel Cappuccino. When I first tried it, it tasted like Nasty Burnt Gas Station Coffee. I'll let you know how it is after two weeks of steeping.

Most of the 555 juices I ordered from other vendors (all 3 million of them) taste like perfume.

I ordered the 555 from BWB I tried it when it got in (no steeping) It was ok. It did smell a little like perfume, but tasted almost like a cigar. I wasn't crazy about it, so I figured I'd let it steep for a few weeks and try it again.

David @ FSUSA recommends leaving the cap and dropper off for as long as a week depending on the juice. I usually do that even though I have to put the dropper on to fill. Just about any juice comes to life by then. Some change color as well. This method is good for suppliers that mix the juice and ship. Others like my current favorite RiV4L Nuport Wow juice are good to go when I get them although I still let it breathe a few days for good measure.

I have so much juice here, that some will have no choice but to "steep". LOL My problem is going to be gearing up my brain to re-try something I thought was gross at first blush, or that I liked at first but then became a turn-off mid-carto (there are many like this, suprisingly!)

My tastebuds, in all honesty, have been going on a rollercoaster ride. Last night was another "yuckville" evening. Pulling out a Bloog Menthol has turned out to be my best option during these times.

One juice has had a backwards steeping progression (either that, or my bizarro tastebuds have simply revolted): Vaperite Kona Cream. I LOVED it when it first arrived. The past two times I've loaded it up to vape, however, I'd take two puffs and think "ughhh, this just isn't what I remember, and I don't like it". It tastes "fine", I just find myself not liking it at all.

It's an interesting journey....that's for sure! Full of surprises, both good and bad. :)
