From where? I've had very bad luck with any chocolate flavored juices I've tried...

I got some flavor shots from PS, they have the Nutty-Ella on clearance TONIC Nutty-Ella Flavor Shot

I only vape it occasionally since it doesn't tolerate my kind of heat :). It tastes good at around 8 watts with 801 atties and I like to have it with a Frappuccino.

I couldn't agree more. Most of us come here TO CHECK on the progress because we ARE waiting for the site to come back up instead of spending our money elsewhere. However when someone asks for a progress report because there AREN'T regular official updates and many of us don't have time for Twitter etc. and gets slammed, those that consider themselves defending Isaac are more likely driving away paying customers.

The idea is to help keep customers, not p*ss them off and have them take their money elsewhere. Sure we could send Isaac individual emails but that would actually slow him down.

So if you want to actually help him out, give updates instead of insults. You may not care if customers take their business to someone else but I'm sure Isaac would like to keep as many as he can. Especially being down so long.

If realistic responses were given maybe more would decide they can wait it out instead of stocking up someplace else. I'm sure Isaac would rather be flooded with orders when he does come back on line instead of finding half his regulars have brought their supplies someplace else which only means it'll take him longer to recover financially from the downtime.
Well said.

All these self appointed forum bullies jump on a longtime member like a gang of punks. Right from the first reply. I have no respect for this behavior. You call yourselves friends of Isaac??? (Speaking to those few who were so rude to Son for the heinous imposition of posting an "unnecessary" thread.)

I've seen these same few forum tough guys insult lots of Isaac's customers in the name of being his "friend". Straight up Switched: You're on the top of the list because people look up to you due to your vast knowledge. Plus, you're an actual IKV associate. And when you treat Isaac's customers with your trademark arrogance, rudeness and condescension and then the feeding frenzy increases because you're viewed as something of a leader in Isaac's absence.

I wonder what the total number of people who have visited this subforum and left without a post because of you "friends".

I do not pretend to speak for Isaac, but only for myself. I have never seen Isaac disrespect anyone for this little penny ante stuff. This is his sub. These are his customers. Who in the heck are you 3 or 4 people to flame his customers like that? Are you trying to drive him completely out of business? You should be ashamed of yourselves. JMO.

it does get rather out of hand when Iken is not around:p

Hi Tiff
I like to join the loyal ranks too. Im sure soon as I try one of his products I will get there. I know and can appreciate being a fanboy/fangirl :) and see absolutely nothing wrong with it. When I like a vendor and their product I let everyone know how I feel.

Haha Hey guys,
It's alright. I didn't really see snapping or anything out of line. Answers are being given, but they cannot be given with rosy cheeks and a huge smile all the time. I do understand where the boys are coming from and it is totally my fault. Both 5card and Switcher and everyone else that enjoys the homestead and everything along in it actually keep IKV going. It's hard to understand but Really. It's because these guys why we're still here. Think about it, if they weren't, this place would be a ghost town then Ikv will fall between the cracks.2 year anniversary past and there are still veterans who are just finding us.

Better example: The anatomy of IKV, this sub-forum where everything bloomed from, the sub-forum that continuously has data coursing through it as a constant. It's beating. This place gives everyone the best of times and sometimes the saddest. This is where the heart is.
All of these guys are not getting paid for what they do at all and yet they keep the life of what they love beating for the sake of it. Switcher is actually terribly indebt with his company because he is pouring everything into it and my lack of speed from unfortunate events hasn't helped. He continues to work in the machine shop lathing himself\, yet on here doing emails, skype, blogs, and helping random questioners.

This again, is my fault and I owe him terribly. He'll always be there for us when we need it, but he can't always have a big smile heh. What I think is, other than that, is that the place is cluttered up with the disappearance of Ikv. The home has been flooded with constant questions in search of and what not. I made an update thread and failed to keep up with it as I would've liked to, but I honestly had forgotten all about it. Did you know, that when I do talk to Lofty, Switcher, 5Card, I'm not telling them to report and they don't ask. They simply do it, to benefit everyone of us. Out of their hearts for peace for those in desperate need (if they didn't already offer to send anything!:( ) and for those who just really want to know.

Every thread the future customers who are new visit are all going to route to the same info
No but really. I totally understand the hostility brewing and everything. Everything is my fault and I am sorry for it. Don't be mad at these guys, they're people like us, and they do keep everything we all stand for alive including IKV itself.

I've tried to stay as level headed as possible. Yes, it does get a little raw when there are new threads being opened when there are already threads dedicated to discussing the same questions that everyone else has. But... that is the nature of a forum. Not everyone searches, knows how, has the time, etc. I try to help out as much as possible. As for what I do post here... for example, the IKV down thread - I knew it was going to be substantial and wanted to make sure people knew what was going on. I noticed (at the time) two or three threads showing up all asking what was going on (in short..) and was trying to centralize the issue so people could see that: A) IkenVape is not closing - B) IkenVape is experiencing something that is quite common with e-commerce which is - server moves - hardware failure - and the likes. However with all this said and done, I also put myself (on ECF anyways) in jeopardy because it makes me look like a supplier associate with these communications - but I am not affiliated with Isaac or IkenVape on a business level. Merely customer/friend. It is not about pushing away customers but trying to gather them all in the same area to help retain them. We (read: vapers) are under enough scrutiny and drama as it is with the FDA and Government - we don't need excess drama inside our "family"...

What Isaac says is true. I do not report to him, nor does he report to me. I've gone to him with questions occasionally asking for updates to provide on here - but I've also gone to him to encourage him and keep him working. Hell, I've even yelled at him when I was worried about the long term of IkenVape. But things are chugging along slowly but surely.

I don't know where I'm really going with this. I felt the urge to "vent" (for lack of a better word) and here's where it landed I guess. But here's what I do know about Isaac...

He has a wife, two children (8 and 3), pets, his business, these forums, manufacturers that he has to deal with, machinist that he has to ride like a Harley for the upcoming Project Chameleon, among other things that need to be done. He is one man doing the jobs that would require 10.

That being said, I think we all need to be a little more compassionate and understanding for his situation, and also stop being so uptight. Everything will work itself out.

Isaac: Stop being so hard on yourself. It's a juggling act and you're juggling at max capacity presently. Sh** happens. As your signature says... "Problems in life will Always happen, it is how we approach the solution that makes us who we are." so lets pickup, dust off, and get back to work. :) lol...

And I will end this with kitties... cuz I don't remember half of anything else I wanted to say... lol

I am the first one to admit I am an acquired taste. My heart is in the right place. For those that find me arrogant and condescending, there is always the ignore function. Please add me to your list and let me know, I will reciprocate.

Isaac is like a brother to me and we discuss many things in private, right down to his attendance at Vapercon this WE. I and his wife convinced him to go as there was nothing he could do in PA, while the server was generating. It was like watching paint dry. At the end of the day he is human just like everyone else and has a life outside IKV and this sub. Folks seem to forget that, and those are the ones that usually will receive the wrath of the fanboys/girls, and I won't apologize for that.

Unlike some subs, nothing gets deleted here, the good and the bad stays, that's the way Isaac runs his sub. I have been on this sub for over a year and know the regulars and the troublemakers. When you research these individuals you see a pattern. I am a straight shooter and will not give you the politician's answer of blowing sunshine, no you will get it straight. If that is arrogant and condescending so be it. OTOH I am quite offended of constantly hearing these bleeding hearts of society getting offended at every petty little thing. IMO it is time these folks grow a set. Too many people whining these days over nothing which includes but not limited to ecigs, but in every walk of life.

You folks have no idea how much it pains Isaac to be down, and we are not talking about the money aspect either, we are talking on a personal level. He doesn't need the constant reminder or the daily inundation of PMs and e-mails which he goes through, only to have some jerk post one the forum that his or her e-mail hasn't been responded to in 30 min or less. That is what is going down in the background caused by many ungrateful people who believe it is their God given right to get expeditious answers amidst the chaos that was left behind, by some leach. So does it get my dander up, you bet. We have become a society of me, me, me get over yourselves folks. There is no "I" in team.

In closing, Malzado I consider you one of those people. So tune me out :) The sub hasn't seen anything constructive come out of you yet. I know when to apologize and I also know when to tell people sex and travel.

For Loftie, Nutella is a word used to derail a useless thread.

PS: I am the one who told Isaac not to mention his attendance at Vapercon, based on all the fallout he received for attending Vapestock. Folks don't seem to believe that vendors have a life. He is a one man show and is looking into making shortcomings better. If this type of operation does not meet your vaping style then there are always other vendors, that will guarantee next day delivery. But...

good things come to those who wait. Isn't it why you are here in the first place ? :)
