loft, the way you communicated that was excellent. i get your frustrations 5card and switched, but it,perhaps, is sometimes best to just wait a few to reply or just not reply, no? i know your hearts are in the right place, that is for sure.you are passionate men,and much loved members of the iken family.
I'm not so sure about that. Now that I've slept and re-read what I wrote - it's kind of all over the place. I'll leave it the way it is, but man... lol

I would like to know when the calbre mod will be out??

The 7mm is on it's way as we speak and the 308 should be selling when the store opens.

Looking into the future, the 50cal will be born in 2012 and not 2011 as predicted. I went with the information that was published that shouldn't have been published. I rolled with the punches and went along with it. The reality of the situation is that the schedule is/was impossible to keep along with daily and seasonal life requirements. IOW something had to give and real life won and will always be a priority.

I am the first one to admit I am an acquired taste. My heart is in the right place. For those that find me arrogant and condescending, there is always the ignore function. Please add me to your list and let me know, I will reciprocate.

Isaac is like a brother to me and we discuss many things in private, right down to his attendance at Vapercon this WE. I and his wife convinced him to go as there was nothing he could do in PA, while the server was generating. It was like watching paint dry. At the end of the day he is human just like everyone else and has a life outside IKV and this sub. Folks seem to forget that, and those are the ones that usually will receive the wrath of the fanboys/girls, and I won't apologize for that.

Unlike some subs, nothing gets deleted here, the good and the bad stays, that's the way Isaac runs his sub. I have been on this sub for over a year and know the regulars and the troublemakers. When you research these individuals you see a pattern. I am a straight shooter and will not give you the politician's answer of blowing sunshine, no you will get it straight. If that is arrogant and condescending so be it. OTOH I am quite offended of constantly hearing these bleeding hearts of society getting offended at every petty little thing. IMO it is time these folks grow a set. Too many people whining these days over nothing which includes but not limited to ecigs, but in every walk of life.

You folks have no idea how much it pains Isaac to be down, and we are not talking about the money aspect either, we are talking on a personal level. He doesn't need the constant reminder or the daily inundation of PMs and e-mails which he goes through, only to have some jerk post one the forum that his or her e-mail hasn't been responded to in 30 min or less. That is what is going down in the background caused by many ungrateful people who believe it is their God given right to get expeditious answers amidst the chaos that was left behind, by some leach. So does it get my dander up, you bet. We have become a society of me, me, me get over yourselves folks. There is no "I" in team.

In closing, Malzado I consider you one of those people. So tune me out :) The sub hasn't seen anything constructive come out of you yet. I know when to apologize and I also know when to tell people sex and travel.

For Loftie, Nutella is a word used to derail a useless thread.

PS: I am the one who told Isaac not to mention his attendance at Vapercon, based on all the fallout he received for attending Vapestock. Folks don't seem to believe that vendors have a life. He is a one man show and is looking into making shortcomings better. If this type of operation does not meet your vaping style then there are always other vendors, that will guarantee next day delivery. But...

good things come to those who wait. Isn't it why you are here in the first place ? :)
Quoted for truth and bolded for emphasis. I wonder how these people would react if they had to go through what Jonathan (GF's son) goes through whenever he gets in a selfish, all about him mode. He says "I want..., I want..., I want..." and I bark at him like a seal because that's what it sounds like to me. When he acts like that, he gets the exact opposite of what he wants (gets nothing and has to get over it) is it harsh? You bet - is it working? Yes. I'm so sick of people who want to be spoon fed and think it's all about them. Goes along with this bubble wrap society we have (which I've sounded off about elsewhere.)

I kinda figured that's what Nutella was. But back bacon? Seriously? That's gross. lol...

Well to all I bothered with my posts I do apologize. It wasn't personal and sometimes I do get a little pushy when I feel one of my people being set upon. I would act the same if someone was to set upon you as part of this family probably. The absolute last thing I want to do is offend anyone or make anyone feel bad about asking a question they need an answer to. The Ikenvape forum is very special to me so sometimes I jump a little harder when I see one of my buddys with a problem. Please accept my apology if I offended you in anyway. It's been a trying time for us all and thank God it's almost over.

Isaac: Stop being so hard on yourself. It's a juggling act and you're juggling at max capacity presently.

Exactly why I dont bring my questions to these threads tons of bashing little t help

We will bend over backwards to help a fellow vaper in need and I do so every day in and off the forums and in private. Helping folks is what has maintained me smoke free for 20 months. I have nothing to gain with any further participation but will continue do so as long as we are all learning. When the day comes when ECF is no longer useful, I will hang up my keyboard.

OTOH at 55 years old I'm getting a little long in the tooth wrt 'tude.

Loftie, Switcher, 5card you guys do great all considered. All 3 of you have impacted me personally more than you will ever know. I am one of countless faces in and out of these forums . Go figure how many others you have impacted. I would never want any of you to change.

All in all a this will pass. IKV will open, and a week later all will be forgotten. Will Isaac lose a few customers. Maybe. In the end the ones that supported him will be here. Eventually more will come. The quality speaks for itself. The product sells itself. That alone can keep IKV going. Add in the personal touch that Isaac throws in each and every time he deals with a customer and he cant go wrong. Keep it up Isaac.

So when will IKV be back up? Should I make a new thread? *ducks* :D

Belly bacon is so much better. The fat is the reason bacon tastes so good.. Why would you want bacon without fat? Thats not even real bacon anymore..

That won't happen to me for 2 reasons...1) Can't loose someone you never had (Im a 1st time buyer  2) Im sticking it out till I can try some of Isaac's cool toys. I'd like nothing more to a loyal regular and from all I have heard once I try his products I will be. It should be obvious I know a little about being a fanboy. :)

Personally, I don't think Isaac will loose his customer base. He's built it with too many unique products.:p

Part of the life of any forum/elist is you will always have new people asking old questions. Just part of the beast. And yes people do get spoiled in the vape world. How many other industries you can think of where you get to communicate with the owners, have phone calls answered by humans, or have forums with regulars that can answer most questions?

There will be a day when we all will long for these days before Ikenvapes are in every mall and Isaac wasn't living in a castle on the Mediterranean or on a man made island off the US Coast. :2cool:

You know Ab,
I know what you mean. It is very hard to do. We all seen the exact behavior on other forums on the net with folks repeatedly asking the same questions over and over again. Like Yahoo answers, you will see the question, then underneath you will see related questions that are the exact same, BUT the answers are always different or modified, a different wording or meaning depending at the time the question was asked/answered. When one doesn't like the answers they find for any reasons such as they feel it's outdated or just is not happy, they will ask for themselves. Vicious circle, hard to contend with but a proven method on seeking answers.
Hey, I just happen to have an island for sale...Oh and a bridge too.

I'm not really old but I remember talking to Daniel Boone before he left us so it has been awhile.

When you say Daniel Boon, I thought it was the guy who created the game mortal kombat
Ohh generations.

Eh islands are pretty neat but troublesome, a golden monument would just have to fit the bill

Just caught Bridgless,,as in atties? Hmm, you would need a good few wraps of some good coils for that. How about we do away with tungsten in general?
