Army stationed in camp Casey Korea. What is everyone "smoking?" for the longterm vapers you guys notice any difference when running?
Njt: Yes! My husbands run time improved significantly. He feels like he has "increased lung capacity" now.
Njt: Shaved a min off my run time just by vaping. Going strong 1.5years now. How's Korea, I was there at osan 4 years ago. Man I miss me some soju.

And my command is trying to get E-cigs banned. One of the guys in charge is convinced they throw out actual smoke and toxic chemicals & carcinogens. The type of guy who is always right and won't listen to an opinion outside his own, you guys know what I'm talking about. I believe he's citing that damn FDA report from '09 that the military likes to reference when they want to find a reason to discourage electronic cigarette use. Really frustrating. But hard to argue with the FDA no matter how misleading and wrong they are. Also hard to argue with someone that it would be detrimental to your career to argue with.

Koreas not bad, I'm at Casey, OPTEMPO here in a non deploying unit reminds me of the NTC days before 9/11 not really field but lots of exercises...
I'm loving the fact that my lungs don't burn anymore during long runs. I got a few of my Soldiers to switch to vaping, so far no one in my command said anything about them. One of my guys was using his in the TOC right in front of the BDE CDR and CSM, they just thought it was cool cause we weren't taking cig breaks all the time, and they liked my snicker doodle cookie flavor smell lol
At Poo Pond city in Afghanistan, for a few more weeks anyway. Can't wait to be home.
