Well I am new to this and would like to buy a cotton wick, not sure if there's anything better.
I am vaping with a Kanger Evod2 and it would be great if I could find a brick and mortar store in or around Toronto, if not, an online store will be fine.

Hey Mike. What atomizers do you use and what wick material are you looking for? Are you dry burning the attys?

Organic cotton balls can be found at many drugstores, Walgreens, CVS here in the US for around $3/bag.

Here are some other wicking materials members are using:

1. Cellucotton (Rayon) - at Sally's Beauty Supply ($11.49 for 500 feet)
2. Shiseido - at Sephora ($9.50) or Macy's or Nordstroms
3. Ko Gen Do - at Sephora ($12.00 for 60 pads)

Graham Cellucotton Box Numbers: 44060 (500 ft), 44043 (3 lbs = 900 ft), 44040 (1200 ft), 44130 (40 ft).

I am using a dark ejuice and my coils do not last very long, maybe 2-3 days and I would like to buy and make my own coils although where do I buy the wick material ?

Most people use cotton wicking, especially in rebuildables.

You can get silica wicking at vape places.
There is regular rope silica, which is just twisted together as in rope, or you can get braided silica so that it's less likely to unravel.

I like Cellucotton 100% cotton too.

A few months ago my first EhPro Kayfun arrived and I ran right out to my local Sally's and picked up a 500' box of rayon. Now I am thinking I should go get another box, seeing as I am down to 498' left.. I wasted some of it learning how to get it working right..

I picked up my box about 2 months ago as well. Only have 490.5 feet left as I gave away 9ft away to other vapers in my local vape store. I also love Japanese cotton as well.:)

LOL, You had better SLOW DOWN, burning thru the rayon pretty quick!

Can i use just regular cotton from the drug store? Sorry guys, i am completely newb to this and tired of paying almost $14 for 5 coils, which don't last very long.

I have searched all the big box stores and nobody carries vape material. I did find some from online vape stores, although all are based in the US (im from toronto) and paying shipping charges will just defeat the purpose of rebuilding the coils myself.

Mike,

I use cotton from the drug store. Some people mention that they use cellucotton/rayon (check a beauty supply store or get friendly with your barber/beautician - maybe they'll share some with you?)

Please click on my blog counter. I have some links to making coils for kanger/evod heads. It's a decent start in learning how to redo coils. This is intended for single-coil kanger heads. I can't speak to other types of coil rebuilds.

Also, make sure you have appropriate tools (most specifically some sort of ohmmeter to test the coils prior to firing them!)
