Hi, I am just learning about dry burning and caring for coils. Where can I buy wicks for the coils after I dry burn them. I've popped my first chimney and the wick looks like it's shot.

You are probably looking for silica wick. You can find it at any brick and mortar shop usually...ebay....most online e-cig vendors, etc

If you are looking for something quick, easy and inexpensive.........hard to beat Fasttech pre made coils. They have a good price on silica also. You can get like 50 for $3. I quit dry burning when I found out how cheap I could make or buy my own. 100ft Kanthal is around $7.

Good luck to ya and happy vaping. :)

Ecowool and silica are sold at many vendors measured in feet such as 100ft ect. Cotton can be bought in bags such as 300cotton ball bags. Silica and Ecowool you are supposed to dry burn but not cotton. I use 101vapes for mostly all my vaping supplies :D

Just curious, but when you say dry burning, and popping a chimney off. What exactly are you rebuilding? If it is a kanger tank, I would recomend being careful with dry burning, they can get too hot and melt the rubber insulators thus giving a horrible burnt plastic taste. Personally I use cotton to rewick all my tanks, there is a debate over organic vs non-organic which you can decide for yourself. I have used both and the organic does seem a bit easier to work with, less clumps in and fluffier as well. If you are using kangers they are fairly easy to strip out and rebuild, temcoindustrialpower.com is a great place to get wire at cheap prices.
